Off Road 1” Lift

I've wondered about this too. Does it affect the front end rake at all, or is that still there with the ORG? Ram lists the ground clearance at 8.7 inches, stock, but I don't know if that is overall ground clearance or just the higher back end.

Still there.

So the front is just the struts with higher spring seats. Is the rear different springs and shocks?

Does anyone or can anyone confirm the actual dimensions of the front struts and rear springs? A lot of people have the ORP but many don't know is there an actual box that needs to be checked on the build sheet for the package to include the suspension upgrade. Just having the "Off-Road Package" does not mean you have a 1" suspension lift. Just trying to inform the members so when installing aftermarket suspension they can understand what you can/can't do.

This is directly from Ram's Site when viewing the details of the Off-Road Group. Whether it is a box that has to be clicked on an order sheet, I can't tell you but every Off-Road Group Equipped Truck gets the 1" lift.....according to the site.

Off-Road Group
The available all new 4X4 Off-Road Package gives you the protection and power to take on new territory. With features such as an electronic locking rear differential, one-inch suspension lift, Hill Descent Control, tow hooks and skid plates, this is rugged off road capability.

Is the 1” lifted leveled? Or do you still need to add a leveling kit in the front to make the truck look better? (Leveled) thanks!

The front end is not level with the orp. The rake is still present. Here’s a pic of my truck when it was stock

My rebel has the 1” lift. Came with 2.5-3” rake. looks much better After the ready lift leveling kit. If you level make sure you discuss the upper control arms. There are kits with and without replacement uca’s. Ready lift strongly recommended th kit with new uca’s.

how the ride feel on the truck with 3.5 ready lift ?
I did not put the preload spacer on mine so it’s really only a 2” lift. I did a detailed post as to why I was told not to with the off road package. With just the spacer I did not notice any change in ride quality. I think the preload spacer would have had a slight negative impact though. I drove the truck only for about a day with the lift and stock tires. Ride with stock tires was as good as factory. However, the E load tires do change the ride quality some. Not horribly, but it is definitely stiffer. Even so, it rides way better than my 2010. I’m very happy with it. If the roads in Michigan were actually decent, it would be a lot better, but that’s another story.

I have my build sheet, I have the e locker, hill acent/decent control, HD shocks front and rear. Does this mean I have the off road package? It says 4x4 on the bed sides. Also have stock tires that are falken wildpeak at's.
