Seems to me that Governor, Senator, SoS, and Treasurer would all have very similar vote counts. *Mine Inspector was unopposed.

I just don't think folks will vote R or D for one and then break rank on the others.

Those statistics suggest to me that there are about 2 million voters who think in terms of "ranks", and a couple hundred thousand who bothered to decide which candidate might actually be best for the particular job (or least of two evils).

It's probably more noteworthy that *no* democrats wanted the job of Mine Inspector. Might accidentally get dirty or have to visit the site of a problem?

But the most scary to me is the total lack of third party, independent, or write-in voting information.
