I have a 2025 Limited that has 3k miles on it. It's been in the shop 3 times now for the same issue; blind spot monitoring unavailable - which also makes driving assist unavailable along with crash avoidance as well. This last time it was in the shop I was finally told, "Stellantis is aware of the issue which is software related and they are working on a fix. There is no resolution right now." So, I have an 88k truck that partially works. The service advisor told me that the module is bad and needs to be replaced but that Stellantis won't approve that repair since they are "working on a software update". I am now going directly to Ram and opening a ticket to try to resolve this. Anyone have this issue?

If it's been in the shop 3 times, and they can't fix it that would qualify for lemon law buyback probably. Just sayin.

It probably would qualify, depending upon the specific lemon law in your state. My '25 laramie is getting lemon lawed, and despite it overwhelmingly qualifying they are apparently bound and determined to push it to an actual trial. I bought the truck late August of 2024. Next month there is to be a hearing to set a trial date. I don't understand Ram's logic, it would be easier and cheaper for all parties for them to have made an offer to buy it back, but whatever. They'll just have to write me a bigger check at the end I guess.

This is definitely a safety issue that would qualify the truck as unsafe to operate. Lemon law should cover this. I'm not sure why they would delay repairs for a software fix that's not available yet, but parts replacement is readily available to fix the issue.

Reaching out to an attorney to file a case. I reached out to the GM of Gurnee Dodge (IL) and no response to my email. Was trying to see if they wanted to figure out a solution first but clearly they have no interest so my only recourse is to file a case. Just hope it's not costly. Just bought this truck in July and did a road trip yesterday for 10 hours with no cruise control. Apparently that doesn't work either at times.

Likely it won't cost you much of anything out of pocket. Just prepare to die of old age while waiting, and making payments. Before filing you should contact ram customer service and request a buyback. They'll likely say no, though I've heard that they do occasionally say yes. Then, assuming they say no, contact a law firm. Don't expect them to file a suit anytime very soon, in my experience they want to give the manufacturer borderline-retarded amounts of time to offer a settlement. Then, finally, if no offer is forthcoming, they'll start the process of filing a suit. The court has a hearing to talk about the weather, a hearing to set a trial date, a hearing to scratch their ***, you get the idea. I have not yet gotten a trial date, that's supposed to be set in a hearing next month. I'm sure the trial date will be next year, maybe well into it. I bought the yard ornament late August 2024.
