Best of luck w/ the truck and the sale. It really is a beauty.

Let us know if the tow hooks rust. There’s been some complaints about it. I planned on buying chrome hooks soon but gonna wait it out until I know for sure they won’t rust right away.

Geico MBI (Mechanical Breakdown Insurance aka "Extended Warranty" for $210
So I just looked it up and read a few reviews. Take a look. I appears to be very good. Anyone have experience or first hand info?

Geico MBI Review - The Truth about Geico's MBI
Geico's MBI Info

Did you end up getting the extended warranty through geico? Does it only cover cosemetic damage or mechanical too?

That was a dumb question since its called Mechanical Breakdown Insurance. Lol woops. Forgive me. I guess I’m just shocked at how cheap it is for what it covers.

I got it and I researched it and found many review sites stating how it covers all that the factory warranty covers. Luckily, I haven't had to test it out yet, and hope to never have to. For $210 total, that's money well spent for something I never have to use!

Just found out about this thread from the OP got my truck in September, I am in Putnam County NY. The truck is a lease but i have done some stuff to it the only thing i can't take off is the line X bed liner of I don't keep it. I use it as a truck and didn't want worry about the bed. So what have I done let's get started, lomax cover but thinking about upgrading to the undercover ultraflex, tyger star side steps, black wheel skins, I plastidipped all the chrome, had the chrome bumpers wrapped and swapped the chrome piece above the lights and grill to the textured black from the dealer. Xenon depot low beam led lights and just ordered the high beams today with 20% off, fog lights are from deauto and I can swap them from white and yellow using the stock switch, rough country bed mat, aftermarket bed light kit, Baja s2 sport backup lights, Baja squadron pro hood lights, opt7 triple tailgate lightbar, all hooked up to a anzo wireless switch and hooked up to the curt adapter so nothing tapped into the factory wires, replaced the interior lights to led and the cargo lights. I'm sure I missed something. Did some short videos nothing fancy check them out.

It’s coming along nicely. Any issues with the interior/cargo led swap? Also what after market bed lights are you using? I’m leasing mine too but will probably buy it out so I don’t want to do too much just yet. I’ve contemplated the bulb changes and bed lighting.

I do see a delay sometimes but it doesn't bother me that much if it gets annoying I will try and narrow down what bulb I hear it's the cargo/ brake lights. As for the bed kit I got it from a guy I used on tacoma world they were pricey and I think you can get away one of the flexible Amazon kits I just wanted neutral white not cool white. I have it hooked to to a waterproof toggle switch in the bed.

Put Rebel take off’s on the truck a couple weeks ago. Sound and feel is a lot different from the Bridgestones but I like the new look. A lot more grip now. Haven’t been on the highway yet and I’m a little concerned about the increased road noise but I wanted A/T so thats the sacrifice. I really want a lift now though!

Bought used Mopar window air deflectors off the forum in the fall. Finally got around to putting them on. My first “quarantine mod” lol. The weather was perfect today. 25EB9FA5-D1F0-471E-8F43-D550172A5477.jpeg EC32B841-59EE-4C89-AFCE-F5951245FFD1.jpeg 1F59F7B7-315E-498C-A9CE-ADEACE7D7003.jpeg

Thanks for the revival. Sometimes I forget I started this thread. Lol. Looks good with the Rebel wheels/tires. I’m very happy I made that switch.

I like what you did with the hood emblems. How did you do it? Plastidip?
