Hey gang - new(ish) to the forum, first post. Closed the deal on my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited in Ivory Tri Coat yesterday. Formerly of the GM Clan, this is my first Ram and first FCA vehicle (I don't count my 40 year old CJ). I am very impressed so far (100 miles in). The ride, the room, the interior and the tech is simply top of it's class. And I feel like I got a really solid deal on the vehicle/trade so that makes it even better.
I'm grateful for all the information on this and other forums. I'm usually pretty active on the forums having tweaked and modded my wife's Escalade ESV and my own Yukon Denali. Such a great source of information. My wife's car is still my favorite ;-) but I simply can't pull up on a job site with that!
I was originally pretty nervous moving to this vehicle as the forums are filled with all the "problems" but then I remembered it's much the same with the GM Forums and a great place to vent and find solutions.
I do plan some mods on this vehicle and have already ordered the roll up tonneau, Bully hitch step, Pedal Commander, S&B CAI, screen protector and 60" rear LED light. I've always been a fan of the "storm trooper" look so after I settle into the vehicle for a minute I'll probably start blacking out some emblems and trim. I will 100% go to a more aggressive tire as I am not a fan of the factory rubber. It's taking everything I have right now not to order the 5" RC lift, but again I want to enjoy the truck as is at least for a second.
I'll be posting my progress in either a new thread or top similar thread. Again thanks to everyone and all the great info.
2019 Ram 1500 Limited
Ivory Tri Coat
4WD, 5.7 Hemi (no eTorq)
12" Screen
RamBox/Cargo Management
22" Wheels
3.92
Anti-Slip Rear
33 gal tank
Pano sunroof
Retractable boards
Safety Group (cruise, lane assist, etc.)
Dealer tinted windows (will go darker)
Trailer brake
Slush mats
5/100k B2B FCA Warranty
I think it's pretty much every option save for the deploying rear steps and the eTorque.
Pics of my new ride, trade and wife's ESV attached.
