New 5th-Gen 1500 Fuse / Relay / Circuit Breaker Diagrams & Documentation

Can anyone tell me where I can get K07 relay?

I posted a diagram for the Internal Fuse Panel recently. This was good information to share with other 5th-Gen 1500 owners because the owner's manual doesn't contain such a diagram and the labels on the panel are very hard to read.

However, there was a lot more information that could be even more useful such as a diagram for the External (Engine Compartment) fuse panel as well as better detailed information about all of the fuses, relays, and circuit breakers. This took a while to compile but it was worth it because it will be a handy reference for anyone who could use it.

I created the information in a spreadsheet database and then published it on the internet. From here anyone can reference it any time online. I've also created two pdf document files if you wish to download the information directly to your computer or your smartphone. You can print a hard copy or keep it on your smartphone to access it easily if you ever encounter any issues on the road.

The website and the files both contain detailed information about both the Internal and External Power Distribution Centers, much more than the owner's manual or any other such documentation I could find. For example, you can now very easily find all fuse and relay locations and reference with expanded detail what each one does. Instead of using the esoteric acronyms used in the owner's manual to describe the fuses and relays, I've expanded most of them to their full names. This makes it much easier to understand what each one does.

Please see for yourself. Here is the RAM 1500 5th-Gen Power Distribution Centers website. Also, I've attached the pdf files for both the Internal and External Power Distribution Centers to this post. Simply download them to your computer and/or smartphone. From there you can print out a hard copy if you wish.

Great info.. My wiper washer is not working and I am not seeing a fuse for that on my 2019 Ram Rebel. Do not here the pump at all trying to work. Any idea if there is a fuse for the pump. Thanks

RAM doesn't list a specific fuse for the windshield washer pump. If you have a voltmeter, you can check for power at the connector.

Usually, when the pump stops working, there is a clog in one of the lines. This time of year, it could be ice if antifreeze-type washer fluid was not used or it could be dirt. RAM owners have reported that blowing out the lines usually restores operation.

Just to jump on the band wagon after an hour with power probe im throwing in the towel to ask for help. Anyone know the exact fuse that feeds the usb port in the lift up elbow rest for the center console. I checked every fuse i could under dash and in engine compartment and all look good. Trucks a 2020 ram 1500 limited ecodiesel new body.

You're welcome, glad I could be of some help.

I’ll provide my thanks too for the write up and diagrams. Great info! Thanks!

I'll thank you as well, I haven't used the diagram yet but being a 12V enthusiast I can appreciate the time you put into this and I'll def be using it son enough! 🙏🏼
You're very kind and I appreciate it, but there's really no need to thank me. Before I recently retired I was an electrical, electromechanical, and software engineer at IBM for four decades. I used to design and build industrial semiconductor test equipment. Part of the job was documenting what I designed, so this kind of stuff is right in my wheelhouse and no big deal for me.

There have been a lot of people asking to make this a sticky so you can easily find it whenever you may need it. These requests have gone unanswered by the forum admins, so I just want to remind everyone that all the information here can always be found on this website that I created for it. The website will also work well on smartphones, so simply bookmark it. That way, if you're ever on the road and need it quickly, it will always be with you (provided you have internet access). There are also downloadable pdf versions that you can store on your computer and/or smartphone. You can also print the pdf versions (although the included links will obviously not be available).

Let me know if you would like any improvements or additions. I'm still trying to find the functions of circuit breakers CB1-CB4. If anyone knows their function or has access to the wiring schematics, please let me know.

Is this what you are looking for? Or the schematics.

Yes, exactly, thank you!

RAM's descriptions are a bit odd, showing a circuit breaker for the driver's window but nothing for the passenger's window. And I see no CB5 or CB6 in my Internal Power Distribution Box, but they may be only for certain models. If anyone sees them in theirs, please let me know and I'll add the location info. If you have the schematics, that should help with these discrepancies.

I've added these circuit breaker descriptions to the RAM 1500 5th-Gen External and Internal Power Distribution Centers website, I'll update the pdf's soon.
