Doubt it in a thread on this forum someone wrote about talking to uconnect asking about it and apparently the 12“ Nav doesn’t have enough RAM to get this update.

No. The Uconnect “gen” 5 is a complete new hardware/software and won’t be an update. Will be in most if not all 2021 FCA models according to articles. Our radios will never see gen 5 software without replacing the complete unit. That also will require some form of a 3rd party adapter/harness. I.e. won’t be plug and play.

My update notification popped up as well as I pulled into work parking lot. Told it to update and tuned off the truck and went inside...not sure what will happen....

I'm really happy to see the CNSC29NFGL units getting the updates. Gives me some hope for my own flawed unit. No more random reboots? Dropping bluetooth? Non-working USB? Fingers crossed

Just got my update as well. Bought the truck used a few weeks ago. It was a 4/19 build. Haven’t had any big issues since owning it other than the occasional muted Bluetooth call. Previous version was 18.45.40
New version is 19.49.13

While sitting here typing this just noticed this pop up as well: Installing SXMTCApp. Guessing it’s updating the SiriusXM apps as well

I wasn’t really having any major annoyance issues prior to the update. Bluetooth calls, etc we’re working fine. I have noticed after the update that the album artwork updates every time now with a song change like from iTunes or Pandora. This wasn’t always the case before as it would show last song artwork most of the time. As others have stated I saw it updating apps as well after the update had completed.

Can someone confirm if it would have made any updates to the amp/sound? I’ve been messing with settings and I’m trying to confirm a placebo effect. Main change I made was from surround to stereo with both having the sub unplugged. Bass from the rear doors isn’t rattling the doors anymore, sounds tighter and I’ve been able to step up my bass EQ a couple ticks. HK 19 speaker.

My truck updated last night. Only different I have noticed so far is with the Favorite Icons for SXM when you hit the favorites star. The Icons seem bigger. It reordered them all also, put them in order by channel number instead of how I had them.

I also received the update to 19.49.13. Would love to see release notes for the update.
Only thing I've noticed is a way to view missed notifications from SiriusXM (ie., an alert that an artist/song is playing on another station). There is now a red number on the profile icon.
If anyone finds release notes, please share!

Hold down the bottom 2 soft outer buttons until dealer mode page appears. Then System Information.
