Need a measurement for trx scoop placement.

Ohhhh, hes trying to make his existing hood into a TRX hood...

Well the TRX has a different air intake, so I don't think it will matter.
Doesn't that hood scoop feed into the TRX's intake?

Putting fresh air just into your engine compartment doesn't seem like it will make a huge difference if it's just blowing over the engine. Should get an ram air style intake, and cut the hood to allow air to flow into it imo.

Yes, the hood scoop on the TRX is an actual intake.

Here's the measurement. Right at 30" from the back edge of the hood to the front edge of the decal, and about 30-3/8" to the front edge of the rolled metal. It's 30-1/2" to the front of the plastic intake scoop. The camera wasn't perfectly vertical over the scoop, so the measurement looks off in the picture.
