Took my truck into the dealership on Monday to have my wet drivers side foot well looked at. (It helps that my sister in law is the service manager) She had a Privet Water Specialist look at it. Where the fender meets the firewall i had 5 Leaks because it was not sealed properly from the factory. The guy was able to fix the issue and next week they will be putting in all new carpet and insulation. ( I do not have pictures i will be asking my sister in law if she or the specialist took any for you all to see.)

How were fender and firewall supposed to be joined? By a weld? That is some sloppy work right there by FCA.

Hello wrcrallysport. Did you get any more specifics or pics on fixing the driver's side floor water leak? I am taking mine in as soon as this virus thing slows down, and would like to provide suggestions to the dealer on where to look. My carpet appears to get wet both under the gas pedal and on the left side too. Thanks.

Sorry my sister in law didn't get any pictures. I know they wont replace anything without having a water specialist look at it first. She said it was where the inner fender met the firewall. that it wasn't sealed all the way from the factory. The only way we found it was going to the car wash and having the under body wash. My truck was my sister in laws demo vehicle. Never once did it leak for her. Thats the only reason i bought a used 2019 ram is because i know who drove it and how it was driven.

Sorry i dont have more info or pics. I'm having an issue with my rear window frame cracks now. They arnt leaking but are cracked on both sides. she said its not a thing. so i'm trying to find more info i can give to her so that it can be replaced

This is the Star Case that we all posted up months ago .. that was the fix was to have sealant put into that body seem. Glad it worked for you. I'll be putting mine in when I can as well.

There are plenty of pics in a few different posts on here already. I even showed the 2 inches of water in my footwell area.

Does anyone have info on how to remove the panel so we can do this ourselves? My dealer "cant find the leak" and this seems to only happen at the carwash now.
