Is it just the Rebels having this issue? Anyone without the rebel package having this issue? Maybe it is something specific to the rebel package causing this issue. I've never noticed it on my truck, not sure if I would even notice if it was off .5", I will check it out.

It's not an issue, it's normal. Unless you have adjustable coil-overs your suspension will never be perfectly level. There is a weight difference from left to right on most vehicles, equal rated springs will mean the heavier side will sit lower. Factor in the driver's dynamic weight and over time/miles the difference actually increases as the springs slower wear in.

Get a tape measure. For the quick and dirty method, measure from the bottom center of fender flare to the center of the wheel. For the most accurate, measure from the level ground to the bottom of your frame. Either case, the driver's side will be lower.

I’m glad someone gets it. No vehicle I e ever owned, especially trucks, have been perfectly symmetrical. It’s not gonna happen. There is a way with coilovers to minimize that side to side difference. Essentially (if the front is maxed out) take the passenger front and lower it in this case by .125” of threads. That will equal about .25” of drop and it’ll be much more level side to side in both front and rear. For those that don’t know, most if not all coilovers, the distance in thread is half of what you’ll get in height. Example... .5” of threads equal 1” of height.

OP... side note.... how do you like that kit? Does it ride well? I’m assuming when you said Fabtech it’s the Dirt Logic line. Is that your truck they used on the site?

I just can’t imagine ever worrying about something so insignificant. I had a new Chevy truck many years ago that sat over 2” lower on the drivers side. That was enough to bother me because it was very noticeable. In that case the dealer added another leaf spring to the low side. Then it was higher on that side by an inch and I just let it go

Ya it’s the FabTech dirt logic with the Reservoirs. It’s a great lift a drive super smooth and handles very well. My truck is not the one they used on their site. But I would certainly recommend that lift it’s great fit 35s with ease no rubbing or anything

.5" to .75" would tickle the heck oughta me! 2020 1500 Laramie Quad and one week off the lot I noticed the driver's side looked way lower. I measured and found a 3.5" difference. Took it back to the dealer and was told it was because my gas tank was full (Google seems to show that's a standard response from dealers). I didn't buy that, thinking what happens if I haul a full load? But I waited until the fuel light came on and remeasured. Same difference. I just got off the phone with the service department and was told that I needed to come by and look at the other trucks on the lot, if they're the same way just accept it. If not, call back. Not my idea of how to do business.

You on the other hand have an issue. 3.5" difference is a real issue with the suspension like a faulty sprung spring. Go to another dealer.

So for all of you being ok with .75" off, are you ok if your AC blows 55 deg out of the vents? Cause I'd love to compare the responses from that thread.

Just remember, it's normal.

Where did we say .75? Most say half and inch or less, and without coil overs, that's what you will have. If you measured correctly, no vehicle will ever be level with regular springs.

Just for fun, I just measured my buddy's brand new Trail Boss across the street, it was 1/2 and inch lower on the driver's side.

Lets see what the OP found out at the dealership, can't wait to hear about that. As for the A/C, mine blows cold, colder than my 2015 F150.

Huh? That has nothing to do with this thread and it was .5”, not .75”. A half inch could be multiple things. Tires pressures slightly different, ground not PERFECTLY level in all directions, battery weight, fuel weight, manufacturing defects that are within tolerance, not measuring in the exact same spots on both sides. All of this can easily add up to a half inch. No vehicle is completely symmetrical from left to right unless someone worked to make it that way. They don’t roll off any assembly line perfectly level side to side. Now if it was a couple inches, then yeah, something is wrong. A half inch is nothing.

Btw, yes, the a/c sucks in these trucks.

If this thread is a face Palm why are you still replying to it? These guys are just trying to see if it's normal or not to have height difference. Some may think it's normal and some may not. Some are bothered by it and some are not.

Appreciate the mini lecture, boom. But, I replied to it, well, because I can and to inform people it’s normal and explain why it’s normal. I then replied to the OP because I was curious about his set up and have been looking at the Dirt Logic stuff. Kind of what forums are for. Thank you for your concern though. NKAWTG

It wasn't a lecture just don't know why people have to troll on others then decide to give information. It's kinda like a back handed compliment. IMG_20200617_195904.jpg

Ok so I went to the dealer today. I was not able to talk to a mechanic but the service writer said maybe it was the gas tank. So he doesn’t know either. I measured about fifteen trucks and only one was level. Most off by .5” or so. Also remeasured my truck as their parking lot was dam close to level and my truck was only off by 2/8th of an inch. So I’m ok with that. I’ll attach a few pictures one is a tradesmen and the other a rebel and the last two are mine truck.

Oh I wasn’t trolling. The face palm was in reference to everyone not believing that vehicles generally aren’t level side to side and that minor things add up and that it’s not a “problem”. See OPs latest post on the subject from his visit to the dealership.
