Truck went into the dealer today after creaking and popping from my front end escalated quickly. We pulled it in garage and saw the upper control arms have been rubbing the inside of tires... waiting to see what they say. Anyone else have this issue. Truck only has 4600k miles and is two months old. Truck came with the wheels and tires on it and mopar 2 inch lift installed from dealer. I also asked them about the spacer being added to the front as I believe this is the previous mopar lift.

Sounds like the wheels they put on may have too much positive offset. Or, maybe when the 2" lift was put on they used the stock control arms instead of the updated control arms that come with the lift kit.

I’ll keep you posted, we were thinking the same thing. We’ll see how long it takes for them to go over it and get back to us.

So far we are still waiting, they’ve ordered wheels with more offset and said theyve torqued things down and believe the noise is gone. We asked them to do another tsb we found regarding body mounts due to the noise and floorboard movement we had also reported. Sadly the mechanic also wanted to suggest adding wheel spacers as well which we declined. Still awaiting the news on replacement of the tires as well. Wishing we would have bought a stock truck at this point. Has anyone in here bought a new truck with the mopar two inch already installed? Would love to be able to compare pictures of the lift, upper control arms and wheels on the truck. I would’ve thought mopar would have had this all figured out before installing parts on a brand new truck or at this point know if it’s the lift or control arms that have caused the issues since they’re not wanting to replace those as of yet.

They are attempting to put new wheels and wheel spacers on my brand new truck. I told them I do not want wheel spacers on my truck and can’t imagine the dealer thinking that is a fix. I would like to find someone that has a 2019 ram truck with the 2 inch mopar lift installed to be able to look at pictures of front lift/ control arms and compare.

Honestly, I think you are the first person that I have seen report problems with the MOPAR lift. I don't think this is a MOPAR issue; I think its a dealership/mechanic issue.

what size are the tires, what is the offset on the wheels? Factory wheels have a +19 and very little clearance between the control arm and tire with a 305 width. IF they put a 12.50 wide tire on a an aftermarket wheel with +19 offset or higher you will have clearance issues. It looks like the truck has aftermarket rims in your avitar pic.

I think you are correct, trying to find out the offset of the wheels the dealer put on the truck, this was all done and sitting on the lot. Trying to get from the service manager the current offset be what they are trying to order.

What offset are your wheels you are currently running?
