mopar "Auto Armor" done to my truck?

I personally would not buy stuff like that from a dealer. It’s not their business. They aren’t detailers. So they will either have someone come into the dealership and almost certainly would not have the proper gear and setup etc, or they will have to drive it back and forth to a local retailer of their choice...which might not be the best choice and the dealer is going to charge you for all of that and mark it up. That’s if they even do it! So many shady dealers I bet many of them just clean and shine it up and never apply anything!

I would choose a properly researched detailer and take your vehicle there personally and have it done right. It’s expensive! I would not trust a dealer and def wouldn’t let them mark it up and choose the detailer.

For the interior I would just do it yourself. Leather and fabric sealer/protector is like $10/can. Spray/seal/condition/protect/done.

My two cents.

Save your money. It gets poor reviews and isn't lke having real ceramic coating done by a detail shop, plus they try very hard to weasel their way out of paying claims. It's pretty much just a huge money maker with a huge upcharge for the dealership. Ceramic isn't done by washing with some foam stuff and rinsing it off again, and that's what this is.

Well said I agree. There are some excellent ceramic coatings out there. Some not so good ones and some incredible ones. Big price range as well. Do your homework. Pick a good detail shop and a good ceramic coating and you will be very happy.
Dealer coatings=sham

Ditto to all of the above. As a detailer the stuff they use is often off the shelf detailing junk that is actually a water based cheap sealant.

If all you want is a nice shine and year long protection go with something like Chemical guys jet seal or Klase.

If your looking for top notch protection from the elements there is nothing beating Ceramic Pro at the moment but that will cost upwards of $2500 for a gold package in many places for a truck.

Beat of luck

If you want tru paint protection expel wrap ( or what ever is quality in ur area ) then ceramic coat it... Ceramic coating is a big sales gimmick imo after having ceramic pro 9h lifetime it should be used for nothing more than the most efficient way to clean a vehicle , solely using a ceramic coating for a true paint protection will highly disappoint you. And the dealers that use those programs dont pay the company performing the job a fair amount as its quantity over quality that those deals are struck , its wham bam thank u mam in and out ... no one likes doing those jobs , the quality speaks for itself especially if a job that should take 2 days is done in 2 hours out back the service dept. But people get suckered into those detail and paintless dent programs all the time and they never really use it
