I just don’t understand why it doesn’t come with some of the performance mods. why not some headers, true dual exhaust, and an actual functioning air induction hood
Same here. I read the specs a few times expecting some type of performance upgrade. They could at least throw in the Mopar cold air intake with the extra $8500 being spent

I’m sure they will sell to somebody. For $8500 you’d expect more. I rather put that money toward a non special edition Laramie and really get your monies worth.

I really don't understand why everyone on here is like, "OMG $8,500!", yet they'll spend that much and more on options on their Big Horn or Limited. Makes no sense. This is a Special Edition, a Limited Edition. Like there's only 210 going to be made in the US. Chill my guys. I do agree having it on the Big Horn is a lil lame, but it makes sense since it's the most purchased trim.
The extra money that I spend on options are for things I actually want and use. I'll gladly pay extra money for something that I really want like the Rambox option, ORG, Sport appearance package, etc. And I usually spend at least $8500 on my truck for aftermarket things over the course of it's life. It's just not worth it to me to pay that much extra for things that don't really matter to me. In this case, the extra $8500 is mostly to get a rare limited edition truck. That alone appeals to many people, and I predict that these will sell out very quickly.

Some people want different options is my point, and yeah with only 250 being made, I can see that. If it were on a Laramie or Limited, I would probably have buyers remorse on my new truck; but its not. I think the most expensive piece is probably the tonneau cover tbh. Looks like one of those nice fiberglass ones for $1500-2k.

I don’t know if it said so or not but does that $8500 include the level 2 equipment and the night edition package as well? If so the $8500 makes sense

Well it replaces the sport and night package entirely if you get it, however I don't think it includes the Level 2...

Did you cut the clip and use double side tape as mention in one of the threads? Sorry for so many questions, trying to decide between oem one and bushwacker oe style fender flares. Thank again.

I know that this is an older thread...but I just found a pristine used Hydro Blue 21 Mopar Edition Ram that luckily got traded in to a Chevy dealer. They had no idea what it was & priced it like any other extremely low mileage Ram Bighorn! These are really cool "parts bin specials". Part Rebel, part Laramie, part TRX, part Bighorn Level II. Has the factory 2" lift, tow hooks, electronic hill holder, electric locker, and interior like a Rebel with cool Mopar logos embroidered on the head rests.. Mopar (Borla) cat back exhaust with 5" Mopar TRX exhaust tips. (Sounds great)! Has the full trailer tow package including power folding tow mirrors and trailer camera backup wiring harness. Has all the BH2 goodies, ie, dual climate controls, 9 speaker radio with sub, in bed led lights, power sliding window, heated steering wheel & seats, floor storage bins, etc. Other Mopar special parts like the good "slush mat" floor mats, off road running boards, color matched hard tonneau, bed utility rails, and sprayin bed liner. It has all of the neat appearance stuff from the night edition. Other appearance items include, body colored bumpers & fender flares, metal flake piano black grill surround and mirror covers, sport hood, and the like it or not, factory graphics package. BTW...I like it! I don't think that you can spec out a nicer equipped Bighorn based 1500. Oh yeah it still has the cool factor of being #106 of 250 with 40 of them going to Canada. It's one of 68 Hydro Blue ones. When new, this $8500 package was actually a pretty good value!!
