Metallic Clunking Noise from Front of 2019 1500

I'm a recent RAM 1500 owner. I purchased a preowned 2019 Ram 1500 Longhorn, about a month ago with 12k miles, and just about every option (incl. air susp). The Carfax said it was a "Manufacturer vehicle" but I made the leap considering the way it was optioned.

For the past 2 days, there's been a metal clunking noise coming from the right front that has been progressively getting worse. Its loud on the outside and you can feel it through the steering a lot. It happens whenever I hit any road imperfection, and currently, even minor manhole covers will trigger some clunking. It almost feels like the cars about to fall apart.

On a side note, a few days after I bought it, I started noticing how the steering made a slightly audible and tactile click when turning the wheel. I was mildly upset but figured I'd get it checked next time I go for service. Does my current issue sound like it could've evolved from this?

Any ideas or tips guys on what it might be? Anyone have this issue before?
I'm pretty set on taking it to a local dealer tomorrow morning.

Have the dealer check you passenger side axle. There known for letting water in and then ripping up splines (ask me how I know lol). Don’t drive it in 4wd at all with this going on it makes it MUCH worse. This should be covered by warranty for sure. Another thing to check is the sway bar links, my truck had them tightened and they will now be replaced as there is squeaking again. Also before you go in go look at your back trim pc over your back glass for a crack. If you have a crack the will then have to replace the whole rear window.

These are just a few of the things I’ve experienced along the way with my truck.
I will say for the short amount of time after the axle got fixed and before the sway bar started squeaking, this truck was like butter on the road.

You're talking about the 3yr Basic Limited warranty right? If it's any of the issues you listed, you think I can get this done free of charge?

Check sway bar links. I started experiencing the same issue on my 19' longhorn @ 3K miles and it ended up being the sway bar links needing re-torque

I had a very similar issue on my 2019 - clunk and you could feel it on bumps in the road. Dealership replaced sway bar links under warranty and haven't had any issues since. They said it was a known issue and I believe there is a tsb on it.

Yes this should be covered under that warranty free of charge. They should even provide a loaner.

Yep, took it to my local RAM. It was exactly that, front links/bushings were switched out and it was solved.

But I’ve had a plethora of other serious issues right after this one with my newly purchased preowned 5th gen 1500 Longhorn with only about 13k miles. I might make another thread in the forum highlighting my horrendous experience so far. The vehicle has been at the shop for longer than I’ve actually driven it at this point.
