I just saw Ram is doing 10% off MSRP on Laramie’s. 3 questions; has your dealership’s deal changed or is it still 13% off MSRP? If it is still 13% off how does that work if both corporate Ram and the dealership’s discount are based on MSRP? And lastly, if I get a message from Ram saying an extra $1000 off, is that expected to be on top of the 10% discount they’re offering?
I never thought of selling my truck, but this new deal might just be good enough to sway me 🤯

Ok I know you've probably all seen me say that there are almost never any rebates on the Rebel and above trim levels for Ram 1500's... Well that JUST changed.
We've got a nice combo of dealer discount and $4K rebate for our instock 2023 units, please see below:

1500 LIMITEDs (with MSRPs over $80k)
$11K Dealer Discount +$4K Rebate = $15K off MSRP
+$425 Doc Fee +$4 Temp Tags + your state's TTL
(36 available)

1500 REBELs (all MSRPs)
$7K Dealer Discount +$4K Rebate = $11K off MSRP
+$425 Doc Fee +$4 Temp Tags + your state's TTL
(10 available)

If you find one you like on our site www.markdodge.net you can email us at [email protected] and we'll verify availability, and get you connected with an on-site specialist after collecting basic info
(this way we don't have two people selling the same truck at same time)

For other trim levels and MSRP levels, online pricing will be updated over the next day or two to reflect August incentives and dealer discounts.

It was only a matter of time. There is a large number of 2023 Limited's sitting on some dealer lots. They got to start moving them at some point.

The problem is, the way the idiots at the dealership ordered them. I've done nation wide searches, and not found what I want. The only one close, is the one I ordered, and didn't buy, because it wasn't right, due to the idiot salesman screwing up. Even then, they don't want to sell below MSRP, so even with the $4,000 rebate, I'm getting a better deal, ordering through Mark Dodge, and getting exactly what I want. I will pay less for the 24 I ordered, than to buy a leftover 23 with a rebate locally.

I know what you mean about not finding a truck optioned exactly like you want. And then if you do find something close, it's at a dealership that refuses to move much on price. I've been there and still am there. Been trying to find a Laramie.

I did notice a week or two ago, that some dealers Limited inventory was building up. Some seemed to have a ton of Limited's and very few Laramie's. I think 2 weeks ago, MD had 68 Limiteds and 17 Laramie's (this was for 4x4 models).

That's mainly due to the 10% they had on laramies. That moved a lot of trucks. It made it tempting to down grade. I expected to not have any rebates when I ordered.

The basic issue with instock vehicles, even with ours, is that they are ordered in batches based on what is expected to move - so if you're SLIGHTLY off of that demographic, it's not there. THEN on top of that, there are certain items that are only available on sold orders, not stock orders, and that list seems to grow (3.92 and 33 gallon for 2024 ordering). Gets even worse if you want to start talking about ICE vs 4xe in Carb vs Federal states, but thankfully that's not a truck issue yet.

Our current inventory of 2023 Crewcab 4x4 1500s as of this morning, below - but don't necessarily take that as a nationwide indicator :)

Is that why I can't find a V6 bucket seat truck with the longer bed and a couple of other small options I want anyfreakingwhere? I've never found it so difficult to find someone to take a $50,000 check written out to them. :ROFLMAO:

More the question I came to ask, if I configure a truck with the ram build a truck tool, since 2024 isn't available on there yet and 2023's are no longer being accepted, what unknown changes/options/availabilities are there going to be between the two years? I've been spending a bunch of time searching for the right truck to buy or have built and haven't come across it yet. There's one 2022 that fits most all of my needs on a lot, but they want more for a V6 bighorn than 2023 Laramies are going for.

I did email your truck ordering people and we went back and forth working out a few options but I couldn't get one set up the way I wanted for a price I wanted to pay, mostly because a lot of what I want isn't available anymore. (V6 crew cab long bed 33 gallon tank. WTH, Dodge??)

Correct. really no changes other than little things like which ones get black towhooks vs chrome, or body color tailgate handle vs chrome, etc.
Also correct, V6 on 24's only Bighorn Shortbed. 33G is no problem it's the V6 that's holding you back.

Hey Anthony,

There's a little issue on your website search filters...there's a separate menu option for Ram 1500 that gives different inventory numbers than the main option. Wake me up when there's 10% off Ram Incentive ordering for Limiteds like the Laramies in May.... :)

Learn something new every day... I've seen that forever but never new why.
Apparently it's the difference between in transit vs in stock, not intentionally - but the oddball ones are in transit and then when they get here they are refreshed to the better naming convention to show right in the filter - it's a function of how the site auto-pulls from the ordering software

Not sure why people making a big deal out of a sticker. MD saved me $15k+ I don't mind driving around with a little sticker on the back side of the window that I'll never really notice.
Around me, dealers are obnoxious with their stickers, all trying to outdo one another. Everyone takes them off asap. It was refreshing to see no such thing on my Mark Dodge purchase. Ill keep their plastic license plate frame as im proud to have purchased from them, and if people ask me about it, i can tell them where they can get a great deal - also because my name is Mark :)
I was showing a pic of my truck to my sister and she says "They have your name on it already" :)

Our owner was just in Florida 1K+ miles away and found a customer in a Grand Cherokee with MARK DODGE plates on it - pulled up and thanked him for his business, too funny! In reality I've never been behind a vehicle in traffic and said "Oh, I should check out that dealer" based on their sticker/badging. We prefer word of mouth wherever possible, but some traditions like the small sticker and plate frames stick around.

I kept my license plate frame for the same reason. When my wife and I went to pick up our truck, it took her a bit to realize everyone wasn't named Mark there....

Some dealers here in Md. require you to have your plate frame to take advantage of perks for "lifetime" like oil changes, car washes etc.
