I got a great deal from Mark Dodge (thanks Aaron!) in 2021 and have been very happy with the truck. I'm a ways off from a new one but I'm curious if you think the electric trucks will get discounted off MSRP and, if so, anywhere close to the great deals you've been doing on the ICE trucks?

Also, does it apply to the vehicles in stock?

The $1K email is a TDM (Targeted direct mailer) and SHOULD be applicable as well. Needs to be ordered or received within the dates on the coupon.

The rebates YES. the 13% is on sold-orders placed under your name - but we do also discount the in-stock units (just not exactly the same way) those discounts on instock are reflected on our webstie.

Just to confirm the incentives are lockable once an order is placed or when it is delivered? Also, does it only pertain to Big Horn and Laramie models?

We should be able to tell at once we put it in the configurator what is lockable and what is not - and then you will see that configurator doc to sign - or you can take what is available at time of delivery - but not both. Can only be one place at a time, so to speak.

The best incentives right now are on the Bighorn and Laramie - we can always check for others but doesn't look like anything on Rebel, Limited, Longhorn, or HDs. OUR dealer discounts, however, do span those different trims, albeit at various amounts.

I just wanted to recognize Anthony Boi (AnthonyRI) in this thread from Mark Dodge. He's been helping me understand all the current incentives, options, prices on different orders, info on my employer's incentive program, etc.... His email responses were detailed, comprehensive and response time was super quick. Very impressed and can't thank him enough for such a smooth and painless experience. Working with car dealerships isn't always the most fun thing and this interaction with Anthony was amazing.

Thanks Cboyd!

Hey Klink, fellow Missourian (Jeff City) here. I just ordered from Mark Dodge and waiting for shipping to me. How long did it take for them to ship to you and what did it cost you? Thanks!
Hey bud, I grabbed a rental car and drove down from Springfield myself to pick it up. Was quite a bit cheaper than having it shipped which I think they quoted me at about a dollar a mile. They were just fantastic to deal with. Hope you get yours soon brother!

Reached out to MD this week. What great and knowledgeable people (Anthony and Aaron specifically). If I can figure out travel and delivery that makes sense, I will be buying from them. Will be reading through this thread today to see what everyone else did. Im in northern Wisconsin so if anyone else out there from the Midwest did something special, please share! Thank you.

New Member here and first ram. I’m from Northern Michigan and I just ordered a Backcountry on Friday from MD. I plan on flying down to pick it up. Wife may come with me and we may make it a mini vacation on the way back without the kids. Otherwise I’ve rented a car and drove down before to pick up our Wrangler in Indiana. Sales guy met me at car rental place and drove me to dealership.

I priced out a one way ticket and right now it’s $278 flying out of Traverse City. I tried my local dealer after getting a MD quote and they were $5200 difference and wouldn’t budge. I knew my local dealer couldn’t come close but figured I would let them try. For me it’s worth it to travel and working with MD has so far been the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Very upfront with pricing and guiding me through the order process. Renae helped me with my order at MD and did an excellent job explaining everything in detail.

What's the best way to reach out to Mark Dodge about possibly ordering a truck? Specific person to email? Email from the website? Call?

Just wondering how most of you that have ordered actually started the process?

Thanks!

Hi there - best way is to spec out your build on ramtrucks.com, and then either copy that link or save PDF -or your notes - and email to us.
the email address [email protected] is monitored by a few different people so that way we keep an eye on it and respond quickly - assigning you to an order specialist that can help you navigate the process. Hope we hear from you soon and thanks for asking!

I'll just answer your second question. Like many people here, I reached out directly to Aaron in early 2021 because his name was mentioned on this forum as having good deals. I think since then, their business has really grown and he's probably not able to handle as many of the orders as he used to, but it appears that everyone on the sales staff does a good job.

I requested a quote from an online build I'd done. He got back pretty quickly with a great deal. I ordered shortly thereafter, after tweaking what I wanted a little bit. In the best way possible, it was completely different than any car/truck buying experience I'd ever had.

Great to hear. I’m in Chesterfield and picking my Ram from MD next month. Been thinking about the best way to get it here.

Thanks Anthony! I will definitely get that started this week. One other question, historically (minus Covid years), are the Ram May incentives typically better or worse than April? I know you probably don't have any insight it what they'll actually do, but was wondering if there was any trends from the year pre-covid.

We never can tell. What *normally* happens is the pendulum swings from incentivising the prior MY (22 in this case) to the current MY, in concert with the inventory balance shifting along the way. Not all trims get the same incentives each year, and there is not always a pattern in how they do it (right now Bighorn & Laramie, but it doesn't always start that way). At a certain point, they tell us "you're on your own" with selling the leftover 22's, and focus on 23's (soon). The other BIG component to this is what they're seeing as far as national interest rates, lease participation, etc - all things we can't predict as easily as we can predict '22 inventory levels.

The other thing to remember is that the release price at beginning of MY is rarely the same price you see in peak summer, labor day, etc - so sometimes the higher incentives are mitigated by the higher MSRPs.

To make it more interesting, incentives are based on where YOU are, not where the dealer is. BUT your dealer's sale price will depend on where THEY are, and their inventory, cost, rent, interest on the lot, etc.

This is one of the reasons why we really like sold-orders, is that you can get 'yesterdays' price and 'tomorrow's' incentives, in a way, which is often a good matchup to your benefit.
