Just out of curiosity, what exact fees (if any) does MD add on to the sale? Renae only mentioned a $444 document/temp tag/notary fee. Other than TTL, are there any surprised fees added on?
I had $219 in total fees last July, but I'm in NC. I don't know if any of their fees change by home state.

Delivery was early, was supposed to be picked up today, and ended up being picked up last Friday and delivered today @ 6pm. The shipping cost for 1600 miles was $1300 uncovered on a 18 wheeler.

Super happy with the MD experience, the only negative i can say, and its super small, is they put a markdodge.net sticker on my rear window, which will be removed shortly. Next time I'm in the market for a vehicle MD will be on the top of my list.

Thanks again for everyones help on this site, this wouldn't have been possible without the 5th gen community!!!
The stickers are really easy to remove, if they are the individual letters on the rear window. We left ours on for the drive home and pulled it once we got here. Hope you enjoy your new truck.

When I picked mine up they had the MD sticker on the back window too. I had asked Aaron not to put on any dealer decals/stickers. He said that he would try to get to the delivery guys but some times they had already put it on.

As soon as we arrived my wife noticed it before I did and told Aaron he needed to have it removed before I saw it LOL. A tech was out within a minute removing it.

I still have the Mark Dodge license bracket but it will be removed tomorrow since I received a black one today to match the rest of the night edition.

I sent my build into Aaron yesterday and early this afternoon I received an email from Renae with the price. about $7k less than any dealer in my area. And that still doesn't include any rebates/incentives which she said would be applied at the time of delivery. I sent the same build to about 10 dealers in south Florida and maybe half wouldn't even discuss price unless I went into the dealer, a few never got back to me when I told them I wanted the best price on a custom order and the last few told me the price was MSRP and that was it, that the incentives/rebates wouldn't be known until delivery. Looks like I will be pulling the plug on this deal and sending in everything she is asking for. So it looks like their price is just over 11% off MSRP which is a great deal right now.
Same experience I had in Georgia, no dealers would come off of MSRP, or MSRP + or not give a price at all. Cannot understand why dealers don't adopt the Mark Dodge philosophy of selling more vehicles for less margin and making a ton more money. Add to that the no hassle, no pressure experience creating a customer base that will travel across the country to buy from you!. There is no telling how many CDJR dealers I passed between Georgia and Louisiana when I when to MD to pick mine up!

Because if all your local dealers sell for 5k over MSRP they make bank as most people will not travel for a deal and will just get screwed over.

In 100 miles of me I think there are 3-4 different "family" of dealerships and they essentially keep the local market on lock down.

Hopefully they saw the sticker in the back window. Maybe Aaron should have a really cool one made up so everyone can flip off all the dealers that are stealers?

Did most of you get the sticker? I only had a plastic plate that I left on until the paperwork to transfer tags from my old truck went through.

Wonder if it's something they add after washing it during delivery prep.

I had the sticker. I asked for no branding and was told they don't do branding and I asked for no wash. They took it off for me.
They gave me that plastic plate that that's fine to me.

exactly what it boils down too. Why would local dealers sell cars for 5-15% below MSRP if people are still buying them at MSRP and over. I really don't want to travel to another state for a car but if it means a better deal, especially saving thousands, then I will

Not sure why people making a big deal out of a sticker. MD saved me $15k+ I don't mind driving around with a little sticker on the back side of the window that I'll never really notice.
It's pretty simple. I don't want it on my truck.

I've personally sent them 5 customers, maybe more. Think I'll pass on the sticker.

Exactly. The only thing you can do to combat this is to tell everyone you know that better dealers exist. I'm going to keep my sticker on until it fades. Unfortunately, down in Florida there's so much dumb money, I don't see this model changing any time soon, but I'm doing my part nonetheless.

MD saved me a ton of money too and it was the best vehicle purchase I've ever made. But I still wanted and got the sticker removed.. For me it comes down to a couple of things. First of all I'm not a sticker guy, although I've accumulated a bunch of cool ones over the years, I never put them on anything, tool cabinets, cars, motorcycles, cabinets etc. The last one I put on anything was an STP sticker I put on my school book when in the seventh grade.

As for advertising for MD, I really don't think someone in my area simply seeing a sticker on my truck without knowing the MD story would pass by the dozens of dealers and contact a dealer 700 miles away. When I have the opportunity to spread the word about them via forums or one on one conversations, I explain the benefits of dealing with them. That isn't conveyed with a dealer sticker or license plate bracket.

Also back in '70 I bought a black Firebird Formula and the dealer put a four inch round metallic sticker in the middle of the back bumper. I peeled it off but it left a sticky residue that I couldn't get off and ended up selling the car several years later with a sticky bumper. I'm sure today with all the detailing product we have I could of gotten it off. But I didn't even know how to spell dettailing back then! LOL!

Simply boils down to personal preference!

My truck arrived MD yard, they say their financing department is swamped and my case will be looked at on Saturday
It looks like they are really busy.

Must be. I sent over a build early yesterday for a quote and haven’t heard a peep back from them yet. I’ll be patient and let them do their thing. I can only imagine how many vehicles they’re selling these days. 😲

I’m sure they are slammed. I sent my build in Sunday, they sent me the quote back Monday afternoon, I sent over copies of my license and credit score to start the order process yesterday morning, and at this point, just waiting.

I'd really like to see their sales numbers vs other RAM dealers. It's gotta be insane.

I got a quote for a BackCountry today and they came in at $5892 less than my local dealer. After I eat my $1000 deposit for a truck already on order and pay shipping from LA it looks like about $3500 saved in the end. Good amount of cash but guess I was hoping for much more after seeing some deals others are getting here. Mine was 5% under invoice.

My current order with my local dealer is almost a month in so I have to decide if it’s worth starting from scratch again and waiting a bit longer. 🤔

Wish I had found these forums over a month ago. 😩
