Have u done the window trim yet , looking to remove mine , as I have a damaged one on my 19 rebel

Nope, lowest priority right now. Two high school teenagers in sports I’m happy with the way it looks now and will eventually get around to it

I just swapped out one side of the window trim front and back door. Not too hard, just time consuming. Front door card and side mirror has to be removed for the front door. Took me about 45 min since I was trying to be careful not too break anything. Rear door is pretty easy and only takes 15 min. Still have to do the right side so I'll try and take a video of the removal process. That being said I did work on cars when I was younger and am pretty familiar with taking stuff like this apart. If your not very comfortable this might be something you want to bring in to change out, at least for the front doors.

Just installed my black window trim. For the fronts, I was able to installed them by just loosening the side mirrors. Just take off the clip/pin to access the bolts to the mirror and you can access the bolts with a combo wrench. Didn't have to take off door panels.

Wouldn’t happen to have any pictures or examples of what you’re talking about would you?

Jeremy at Retro Shop. I have used him before and does excellent work, you would think it’s factory if you didn’t know better.

Not quite in the same league as some of you, but slowly removing/covering chrome. I tend to like a little chrome, but not to the degree of a '56 Buick. Still a few more items to change, but it takes time. Might change the mud flaps to body color. Got the mirror covers the other day, and changed them out, so may do the mirror arms next. The body color grill looks great, but will have to think on that for a while.

Yeah going to do myself. Bought the black trim and got the install/removal instructions in this forum, hopefully get them on this weekend. Interesting on tow hooks. I was thinking about having them vinyl wrapped. I’ll have to look around on the removal process and do that myself as well. Thanks!
I was curious how much the black trim was and was it pretty easy to replace. I want a limited so bad but hate all the chrome especially that trim around the window.

Finally got rid of 99% of the chrome on my Limited. Had the grill painted with black background and Ivory accents. Added new shoes last week with Fuel Contra 22x10 and 33x12.50 Open County M/T. Also, added Revel Links for 38.5 on front and 39 rear in normal setting (no error codes up to this point in OR1 or OR2) thankfully no rubbing issues. Last few projects are replacing chrome window trip (have the black trim hoping to throw on this weekend) and blackout tails. Thanks to Jeremy at Retro Shop for the Ivory matched badass badges and Dustin from Custom Automotive in Kentucky for getting the wheels and tire to Florida for me! Second time I’ve used Custom Automotive in the last three years, highly recommend them no matter where you are located!
Looks good here’s mine

Gotta do mirrors, then done (believe I’ll leave door trim chrome to match pending wheels).

Sorry for hi-jack, will start my own thread for other mods!
