So I was about to head home get in my truck and all warning lights came on and brake was slammed to the bottom. This is a 2023 with 6,000 miles. I had a 19 and a 21 5th gen with 0 issues. Truck would not start but had power to everything. It all went crazy and would not start. Literally ever light possible on the dash came on. What do I do?

man a 19, 21 and now 23? i could never understand.
Anyhow, when that happens (from experience) its a strong possiblilty its a faulty alternator. when that happens it 9 times out of 10 electrical issues weather it would be alternator as i said or low voltage from the battery or something else

I get bored and have had alot of positive equity in my 19 and 21. But it has 6,000 miles I don’t know how it could be a batter issue. The brake went to the floor wouldn’t move. Yet the power running boards radio and AC all worked but all lights came on and truck wouldn’t start. Picture shows one warning in the screen but before that there was an air bag warning and multiple others.

so trying to look it all up for you and figure it out. so far what i got is check your sensors and wipe them clean and surroundings to ensure nothing is around it at all. might have been right when you parked it sensed something and put the auto brake on. if so try putting in N to roll away from whatever it is. also found this therad maybe itll help Auto Emergency Braking Error.

Brake pedal went to the floor, as in you didn't have brakes? I wouldn't try to drive it, get it towed.

I would reboot the system by disconnecting the battery. Let sit for 30 minutes. Then either turn on lights, blow horn, or touch negative and positive battery cables together to make sure all juice is gone in system.
Reconnect and see where you are at.
May take several hours for all systems to reboot correctly.

If you have a meter I would also check the voltage on the battery,

You’ll get all sorts of glitchy behavior if the battery starts to go, as suggested above. Crazy clicking and lights.

There is no need to do any of that extra stuff. As soon as you disconnect the battery any residual power will be drained by all the electronics in the truck. Especially if you have a door open.

Brake pedal went to the floor and got stuck there? Check the fluid in the reservoir? Could be a leak or bad booster

A 2023 with 6000 miles, sounds like it’s under warranty so I’d take it in to the dealer.

Sure, you can make sure the sensors in the bumper are clean and that the battery terminals are tight but I wouldn’t dig into it too far.

I had a similar issue on a Ford Expedition that turned out to be a loose ground.

It got towed in yesterday they said they have a master tech looking at but no update yet. Wasn’t the battery or something simple. They put me in a 2024 lonestar so a bit of a downgrade from my Laramie.

Where is this sensor located? I've got the same lights on for nearly a month now (forward brake warning/off). I'm assuming in the cluster behind the rear view mirror?

I checked that thread you posted and found a part number. I want to try to clean it before buying

It wasn’t just that warning light was every warning cycling through on the screen. Today they still don’t know what happened. My random theory is it had a high pitch whistle when I was going over 60 like a dog whistle that some people can’t hear over a certain age. Sounded like it was coming from under the windshield. It was raining that night so I’m thinking possibly water got in just the right spot and fried the computer. I’ve read on here or maybe somewhere else where people who got ceramic clear tent on their front windshield their computer got fired by the water the installer was using. I did not have this done but using that theory maybe it’s a possibility if my windshield wasn’t properly sealed. Although it’s been through rain and about 3 washes a week but maybe it just got to the right spot that time. Talked to them today and they still don’t have an answer for me.

This morning they called me and said they ran all the diagnostics and couldn’t find the issue. They said they had to get specialist team involved and it could take along time because there could be a million different issues but something electrical. Few hours later they called and said luckily the first suggestion from the specialist was the issue and is fixed. I’m not a mechanic so I couldn’t tell you the exact issue but something with a bad connection with the starter computer or something like that. When I get it back tomorrow I’ll post the technical issue listed on the paperwork.
