Lug nuts

When i got my new tires i had Discount Tire replace the stock lug nuts with black ones to match my Night Edition rims. But you can see a silver ring on the rim where the lug nuts seem too skinny. What did others use that don't have this issue. Thanks for any help.

Thread Pitch: 14x1.5 / M14x1.5 / 14mm x 1.5. Lug nuts have two compatibilities, one to match the lug nut thread size to the vehicle's wheel studs and the other to match the lug nut style to the wheel.
