I see that often on highway trips. I had a nearly 21mpg average on my recent trip from Cincinnati to Atlanta except for the final 100 miles, then it dropped to 20.2mpg due to weather and wind resistance due to storms.

All that with 3.92 gears and cruise set at 72mph.

Are you using full synth oil?

I didn't grab a picture but after a recent trip where I a 24 mpg average, I filled up the tank and got a range of 574 miles to empty with the 26 gallon tank.

If I had a 33 gal tank, the range would have been roughly 744!!!

I wish I had the 33 gal tank, I hate going to the gas station. Amazing how a few days of mostly highway driving will drive the average mpg to 20, and then a few days later of non-highway driving drops it right down to 17 (or less). Kind of drives me crazy!

That's great! I only have ~3,250 miles on my truck right now, and when I fill up at 1/8-1/4 tank, it takes 25-27 gallons and the readout usually says 535 miles to empty. Can't wait to take some road trips and see that number climb :D

I too, had a 36 gallon tank on my previous truck, an F-150. Filled up with 31-32 gallons after a long slog on the highway, got 600+ DTE readout.

Amazing that they don't put the largest tank they can fit in the truck as std equipment. Sort of like buying a Glock 17 with a neutered 10-rd Kalifornia-compliant mag...

I did 21.5 computer mpg on a 2.5hr trip @ 75mph with only 2k miles on the truck, should get better as it breaks in.

So far I like the 33 gallon tank, except when I have to fill it up. Ive had the truck for 2 weeks now. The 33 gallon tank was a requirement for me. My F150 had a 36 gallon tank and I wanted a similar range.

Yeah, I miss my 36 Gallon tank on my '10 FX4 but there's a lot more not to miss!

I have a douBle LPG tank in my limited for a total of 250Liters , which is 66 gallons of Gas.

My first tank took me 1600 KM's, which give a bit is a 1000 miles  run the petrol tank as well and it should give a cool 2000 km's before refueling....

I have the large tank with my '16 Laramie. I love it. It should be a must have if you plan on any towing. I will absolutely be getting the 33 gal tank when I order my '20.

WTH haha, well downhill with a tailwind right?

I think my tank said 432mi range when I got a fresh tank, but that went down to 330ish pretty quickly when I started driving... WISH I had the 33, but I've also noticed that I need to stretch every few hours of driving anyway

This is my daily driving (Stop and Go but with eTorque and Start/Stop enabled) + a 120 mile round trip at 70 MPH. Mileage has gotten better with full break in and 0-20W Full Synthetic.

I had to have the 33 gallon tank, which is one of the reasons I ordered. My last two trucks had 36 gallon tanks. If I could get a larger tank I would. Minimizing the stops at gas stations as well as taking full advantage of the 35 gallon limit on my fuel rewards is important to me

I love the 33 Gal tank except when I pay for the fill up, which here in California where it hoovers around $4.00/gal. That's over $120 for a full tank! I can't wait to retire and move out of this state.

Yeah that sucks. I live in Boca Raton and even being known as the “rich area” I fill up with 93 at the local Costco and it’s been hovering around $2.65. 87 is around $2.25

How you do install a secondary tank?

This is the only biggest gripe I have with my truck. I have 23 Gallon tank ☹️. It checked everything else I wanted, except the tank. The ones that had 33 gallon tank had several other key features missing from my list. This is a big deal for me as I came from Jeep GC EcoDiesel with over 800 mile range.

This truck has replaced my JGC for long interstate travels. I now keep a 5 gallon SureCan with gas in it.
