If I had to do my tire choice all over again, I would have went with 11.50 vs my current 12.50. Just wanted “ Less “ tire look.

Just ordered my BDS 4" Suspension Lift today. A little stiff on the price at $3k out the door, but after reading lots of info and seeing and riding in the 6" version, I am sold. Not I just need to decide on if I want 35X12.50R20 or 35x11.50R20 Ridge Grapplers on the Fuel Beast Rims.

I have a couple buddies on 12.50's that are saying to go to 11.50's for a little better handling. The shop doing the work says the opposite. I will never put them in snow, so I am not worried about the width for that, but i was wondering if anyone had any advice or input one way or the other on 12.50 vs. 11.50 with tires?
I'm on 11.5 x 20 grapplers with about 5k on them and no complaints to this point. The shop that installed my lift recommended the 11.5's because they said they wear better than 12.5's. Not sure how much lighter the 11.5's are but something to think about.

Since mine isn’t a daily or heck at this rate a driver at all, the 12.50 didn’t bother me.

Thanks for the reply. I have a buddy on 12.50's and I just got off the phone with him and he said he wishes he went with 11.50's because the 12.50's seem to wonder or pull a little on uneven back roads.

Since I need to have an answer in 2 weeks when the lift is installed, I am leaning to just getting 20x9 Fuel Beast Rims and getting 35x11.50 Ridge Grapplers. The place doing the lift actually asked why I don't put 35's on my factory 22" wheels, but I like the black 20" wheels I am running now which led me to wanting the Fuel Beast rims with my new tires. I also don't want my tires sticking way out of the fenders and spraying all the road debris onto my paint.

PorBoy, I see that you have the BDS 4" lift and have Fox Shocks all the way around. I was just looking at trying to get new Fox Shocks for the front when they install my BDS 4" lift. I have the Fox Rear Shocks coming with my kit, but what front shocks did you go with? Do you have a P/N? I'd like to do that as well. Also, do you have a side picture and a front or rear picture of your tires you could share. Thanks for the input and information.

The Fox shocks are the ones that come in the Mopar 2” lift pkg. I don’t have a part number for that sadly. As far as front rear photos here you go...

Thank you VERY much for the info! That is a Bad Azz looking truck my friend! Very nicely done and that BDS lift looks exactly like I am after. I can't wait until it comes in and I get it installed! I will chase down the Fox Front Shocks and put them in as well. My Hellwig Sway Bar will be here Tuesday. I think have made my mind up and the Fuel Beast 20x9 with the 1mm offset and then 35x11.50R20 Ridge Grapplers. That will put me just outside the fender flares. Did you do 9" or 10" rims and what was your offset. Whatever it is, your truck is looking sweet! I think the 1" less tire on the 11.50's is right where I want to be. thanks again for the pictures and info.

I did a 10” wheel paired with a -18 offset. I feel that you’ll be happier with the 11.50 tires and paired with the Hellwig bar, will make it feel planted.

This is not my truck but it is a picture of a 2016 with 20x10 Fuel Beast Wheels with the -18mm offset and 35x11.50 Ridge Grapplers and a 4" lift. I think that will look pretty sweet under my truck. So my tire size is final, 35X11.50. Now I just need to decide on 20x9 with a 1mm offset or a 20x10 with a -18mm offset. Since I am going with the 11.50 wide tires, I am leaning towards the 20x10 wheels with the -18mm offset. With my current 275/55R20 tires and 20x9 factory rims I swapped my 22's out for, I am 1" inside my fender. If I go with a 20x9 with a 1mm offset, I will be about flush with the fender. If I go 20x10 with the -18mm offset, I will be almost 7/8" outside the fender. I think I can live with that and will like that look. I posted the comparisons from tiresize.com below. If I was to do as PorBoy did and use 12.50 wide tires, I'd be another 1" outside the fender or pushing 2" total and I don't think I want that. Given the fact that between the lift, wheels & tires I am dropping $6k, I want to do my due diligence and not get something I don't like for this kind of $. So I think my final set up after the 4" BDS Lift will be 20x10 Fuel Beasts with a -18mm offset and 35x11.50 Ridge Grapplers. I'll post pictures as soon as she is finished. So thanks for all the inputs!

first off I highly highly recommend to not exceed a 2" spacer on the rebel with factory struts. The rebel is already 1" higher than a non offroad ram, any higher and youre asking for your ball joints or cv axles to go out. The 3.5 kit sucks because it compresses your springs thus changing the springs rate which gives it a bouncy ride. It also puts the rebel at a 4" lift practically because its already at +1" from factory. If you're going with coil overs id skip dirt logic( I can't believe dirt logic tried selling a 4" kit with out a cross member relocation or a spindle) and get some fox or kings for a few extra dollars. I've never heard any of my buddies say thay they love their dirt logics but I have heard that about fox and king. Falcons are a bang for the buck and they actually teamed up with a lot of people to do R&D specifically for the rebel(something dirt logic did not do).
I rode a readylift 2" spacer with their upper control arm and have nothing bad to say about their kit. I abused the hell out of my truck until I needed more.
My suggestion would be the 2" readylift if you're on a budget, the falcons if you don't mind spending more and if you're willing to go all out then pull the trigger on the fox/bds kit or king shocks(you will still need to purchase an upper control arm with the king coil overs.. does not include one)

This is awesome... I’m trying to come up with about 4” myself on a 19 rebel...

Yes as if it’s not the Mopar one folks will tell you the dealership has the option of denying if something suspension related goes awry. Me personally unless they can prove because of you doing A it caused B to fail. To me 4x4 trucks should come mildly lifted from the factory. Now if you have a 4x2 that’s different and I’m sure they will be at least 17 folks who will disagree about that part lol..

Well, I’ve settled on the 3.5” goal on a lift... is the molar decent quality (if they even offer that) or should I just change it with a different brand?

Oh ok lol, well the Mopar is not offered in a 3.5” fitment so that won’t be an option sadly.

I got the FabTech Dirt Logic 3" coil over kit on my 2019 Rebel this summer. I love it. Amazing off road, especially as speed and demand picks up. It was a HUGE upgrade. My profile pic was not taken with it. I am really happy with it both on and off road, though it is stiffer than stock. You would not be disappointed with it. I'm still running the OG tires, but moving to 35 x 12.5 on Monday.
