What’s up guys, I’ve got a 2022 ram 1500 bighorn with the base 6 speaker system and factory 8.5” uconnect. The truck came with upgraded dash and door speakers. I added 2 12” subs and a line output converter. Upon doing some research and looking around Facebook groups I found that stellantis radios are picky with line output converters. I have a skar line output and I need help choosing the proper one to replace it with as the bass coming from the subs is sub-par and isn’t to my liking. I installed these in a 4th gen ram for a friend with a aftermarket radio and they beat much harder and have way better frequency response than mine. I want to know how many of you have subs installed on factory head units and how I should go about replacing my current one with something that is sure to deliver results with the uconnect system. After swapping the LOC I want to upgrade to 4 8s but I’m going to start with this LOC.
