I think perhaps you quoted the wrong post. Is the price you just sent for the painting of the grille, door handles and tailgate? If so, that sounds very fair can you PM the quote? I would like to see the labor and paint. If not I understand

I think he wrapped the parts on the truck. He said the emblems outside and on the dash were sprayed with commercial material similar but higher quality than plastidip.

Yes, did those last week ($60 from dealer and popped them on) and grille is going in for paint tomorrow!

Getting rid of all chrome on my Limited and purchased the black widow molding to replace chrome molding. Can someone please tell me where to find removal and installation instructions? I’ve searched high and low and cannot find anything.

Where did you buy the black window molding? Do you have any before after pics?

Nope. Wrapping I was quoted $275 (I’m in Florida as well Tampa). I bought all four windows $241 and will never have to replace when the wrap starts peeling.

Can you tell me where you bought your replacement pieces ?

Didn’t take apart the grille, just dropped the truck off. Having all the chrome around on grille painted to match Ivory and the center portion with the holes painted black. Also having door handles and tailgate handle painted Ivory to match.

So the paint shop painted over your chrome handles no problem? And the grill wasn't an issue to paint over despite being all plastic?

Still not sure why FCA doesn't allow the option to "de-chrome" the rest of the Limited if you select painted Bumpers.

Yip. You can "chrome" a Laramie, don't know why you can't "de-chrome" a Limited ... basically doing the reverse.
