Has anyone tried to put a 40” behind the bumper? I have seen 30” and 20” behind the bumper. I measured it out a seems like a 40” will fit but it will be tight.

Highly doubt it would fit. And 30in already fills the entire opening.

The plastic is almost 42” wide. Are you just going in between the parking sensors?
