I have a 2021 1500 Limited and I’m wondering if it will take 18 inch rims 7-9.5” wide so I can get the 33” nitto ridge grapplers tires with a larger side wall as I plan on taking this off road for over landing. I can’t find any information if an 18 inch will will interfere with the calipers. Given the air lift I don’t wish to do any lifts to avoid problems with the warranty. I would appreciate any information on this. Thank you.
I am looking at the following three tires but I guess the rim size would be more important?
The 265/65R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler has a diameter of 31.77", a width of 10.71", mounts on a 18" rim and has 654 revolutions per mile. It weighs 52.8 lbs, has a max load of 3305/3000 lbs, a maximum air pressure of 80 psi, a tread depth of 16.4/32" and should be used on a rim width of 7.5-9.5".
or this one:
The 275/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler has a diameter of 33.19", a width of 10.98", mounts on a 18" rim and has 626 revolutions per mile. It weighs 58.5 lbs, has a max load of 3640/3305 lbs, a maximum air pressure of 80 psi, a tread depth of 16.4/32" and should be used on a rim width of 7-9”.
or this one:
The 285/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler has a diameter of 33.98", a width of 11.5", mounts on a 18" rim and has 612 revolutions per mile. It weighs 59.9 lbs, has a max load of 3860/3525 lbs, a maximum air pressure of 80 psi, a tread depth of 16.4/32" and should be used on a rim width of 7.5-9.5".
Thank you! The New Guy…
