Late 90’s. I got to spend a week in Opatia, but didn’t get to make it south. I’ve convinced my wife we have to go someday.

Magnificent Mugs

have cups galore, but seem to gravitate to the same ones day after day. The big white mug is the first brew in the morning; don’t even try to talk to me until I’ve had my fill of Aeropress coffee. Then there’s the red Loveramics egg espresso cup which I used all the time, but nowadays it’s just for when I’m feeling a bit posh or have company. When I’m just slobbing around the house my go to vessel is the Duralex 120gm glass. It gets espresso and 1:1 Americano depending on how I feel. For the Americano I drop in a shots worth of hot water, then pull the espresso on top.
