So, I purchased Rigid LED headlights of the SR-L series, an inset version
I planned to install them in the rear bumper.
They fit in size, the only thing is that the plastic cover on the truck is made at an angle, and not perpendicular to the horizon, i.e. they will illuminate into the sky.
To set the headlights at the correct angle, I made a spacer model and printed it on a 3D printer (we didn’t guess the angle right the first time, but in the end I got what I wanted)
Next, mark the holes and check that nothing is in the way.
The holes were made with a Dremel. The standard bolts turned out to be short, so I had to install others, but also made of stainless steel. I painted the heads black.
Next, I soldered the wiring and sealed all connections (in places where two wires were wound, I applied dielectric grease so that water would not flow capillarily to the soldering point)
I connected everything to the trailer socket, as it turned out there was a pinout on the socket itself.
I secured all the wires with zip ties under the bumper.IMG_2414.jpeg
