They not inserts. The sport comes with at least three different wheel packages. A couple 20”s and 1 22”. The 22s are charcoal gray with brushed outer edges. I want something different than stock. Found some that are black with brushed outer edges or the full chromed in the pic.

The Laramie sport appearance package has one wheel. There is another one that people are getting that comes with the Laramie lvl1/2 and then the Laramie black appearance wheel as well.

So the sport specific wheels come with “inserts”!based on the description, these I’m assuming? View attachment 18248 And with that are they removeable? Contemplating removing them and either painting or plastidiping them black. Ideas?

They are some type of insert. I had them on my truck but have since swapped them out with aftermarket wheels and sold the oem's. I tried to gently remove them because I had the same idea of painting them or something, with no luck. There is no attachment point at the back of the wheel either. They move a little so I'm sure they pop off and are not permanently attached. But if your plan is to plasti-dip them then there is no need to remove them, just tape off the rest of the wheel and spray away.

Can you post a of pic of the black with brushed outer edges.. there’s very few chrome wheels that I like these days, the ones you posted are pretty nice. And I do think White is one of the few colors that can still pull off chrome wheels. Just my opinion.

I have no idea if they can be removed.

One thing is certain, however.

No way I'm prying on the wheels on my new steed to find out!

I think those black 22's look sexy on black trucks but not so much on other colors.

I looked and looked for a Laramie with Sport package that had the 20" wheels.

Seemed like all of the available trucks with in 200 miles of me had the 22's and 3.92 gear.

Do you have any more pics of those wheels on your truck? I'm trying to decide between the Fuel Ripper (what you have) and the Fuel Shok - both in 20x9 +1mm like you have.

You don't rub with the 275-65-20 and stock height air susp? Had read in several places that 275-60-20 was the largest that would fit.
Yea they lied to you.

You can run 275/65R20 with sock air suspension.

I originally ran 285s but decided to drop to the 275 to save $300 bucks!

I do have the off road package but there is still a TON of room.
