Same noise mine did and started making again. It was a lifter. Noise was gone for about 3-5k now making noise again. Very frustrating, I’m hoping there is a answer and permanent fix at some point.....

Hello @brettguercio and @Nails, we certainly understand how this noise would be concerning. Please be sure to follow up with us via private message with your VIN. Our role as customer advocates on the RamCares team is to escalate your concerns to Ram Case Specialists. This will assign a Case Manager to work alongside your dealer and ensure that all possible assistance is utilized during your servicing. Please let us know if you would like this support.

I will when I can but the last time was long and drown out. Exhausting really, lifters have been replaced once already. Noise was gone for approximately 3k miles. Been back since, I really don’t want to deal with that again unless more can be done. Replace lifters again and it comes back, while many others do not have this noise at all.

Don’t know what the issue is, was told this past Tuesday that warranty is denied.. first said I used wrong oil or oil not approved by FCA, used Castrol Edge 5w-40 full synthetic. So I called FCA, now they are saying warranty is denied because I didn’t use their technicians at dealership shop... my truck had 48,000 kms
Any recommendations on how to fight or dispute this decision?
Finally got copy of diagnostic couple days ago, a sales person pulled it up while shop was closed for weekend..
Said metal in oil from either bearings or cylinder sleeve. And says used wrong oil. Towed truck to dealership I bought truck yesterday. starting to sound like a restriction was put on my warranty so work can’t be done by any other shop. I wasn’t told warranty was denied until I told gen shop dealership where I bought truck will deal with repairs.
