Key fob programming

I can give all of that a try.
Post #52 is regarding grabbing a PIN. I've done that successfully, twice, now. (Got the same PIN both times, 5 days apart, which was a bit surprising. But whatever.)
...and my "working" fob was out of the truck, about 15 feet away.

Thanks, once again.

Thanks for all of the information guys, I successfully programmed two extra fobs and added remote start and tail gate drop for my new to me 1500 tradesman. Is there another change you can make in JScan to have remote start settings pop up in the 8.4 radio or on the dash screen?

Alright…
Finally grabbed a handful of fobs from eBay and successfully programmed to 2019+ 5th GEN Ram 1500 using only JScan.
All steps were done without ever putting the ignition in ACC or RUN position, and all working fobs were left in the house (so I could verify that JScan can program for an “all fobs lost” situation).
Connect to Ram DT 1500, then go to adaptation > radio frequency hub settings > RFH pin reading beta > target value = ram 2019-2023 > go.
When the following screen pops up, just turn the hazards on. Don’t bother opening and closing the door and don’t worry about the instrument cluster:

Once the pin is read, a screen pops up that says put ignition in run- don’t touch the ignition switch, just press OK, and it will say successful, and you’ll be left with this screen:

Press back to go back to the list of radio frequency hub settings, and choose RFH ignition key programming (pase) beta.
Keep clicking GO until you get to the screen to enter the PIN, and enter it.

Keep pressing GO for the next few screens, note that the unlock button press is mentioned, but will not be performed:

This next screen is where the programming happens, so once you get to this one, just start pressing the ignition button with the fob:

And after a few seconds of that:

These are the fobs I use:
Worked 1st time! Thanks so much for taking the time to post this. I Used the OBD Jscan app, OBDlink MK+ and the ECRI SGW bypass. I have the 2023 Ram 1500 limited. Your instructions were perfect. So many mis-directions by others but several people pointed to your post. Thanks again.

New here with a low miles 2019 Rebel I just bought. I was able to pull the pin with jscan but I have a dorman fob 99255ST and I get "fobik not blank" error when I try to program the key. This is with the only working fob I have left in the house. Frustration is high enough right now that i regret not having it all done by a lock smith in the first place...............

Sorry you're battling that. However, Dorman anything just plain sucks. The ebay source listed on countless threads is the goto.
