good afternoon everyone. Got an interesting one here hoping for some help. Have a 25 1500 Rebel X model with about 6900 miles. Was out working today and things were fine and all of a sudden I lost the use of the key fob. No buttons at all work but the truck will still start. Came home and test battery in it, good. Went and grabbed the spare fob and same thing. Have to use the app to lock and unlock the doors. Any ideas before I head to the dealer?

well so far nothing works still. Luckily being near the truck will lock and unlock with my hand behind the handle and pushing the outside of it. No remote start or doors from the fob itself. Will try and get to the dealer this week but luckily the app works as well in case anyone has that option in the future. I did retrofit the 3rd brake, taillights and front turn signals with Lasfit bulbs since Ram cheaped out on the 25s taking the LED's away but that has been over 2 months now with no issues.

Heads up, sometimes the LED bulbs interfere. Remove the 3rd brake light bulbs and attempt again. It's a known issue, but doesn't effect every truck or LED bulb.

you didn't mention the leds in your first post.

it is the leds.
I have the same issue with my 22
these trucks do not like leds unless they are factory, or you add some kind of blocker.

Common issue on the 25s. There is a software update to fix it, supposedly.

No aftermarket LED's installed and had the remote not work today when I went out to my truck. Luckily, could unlock with the physical key. Brand new 2025, and the screen has already failed to come on one time and now the damn remote doesn't want to work. I sold my F150 with issues to go to a Dodge with issues...

this might address the screen issue
