Jeeps error in vehicle line up

Looking at the new Jeep Wagoneer I can’t help but think this was a huge mistake waste. Given the Broncos popularity Jeep should have moved on the Wrangler Africa concept instead of a overpriced V8 392 Wrangler - the wagoneer or commander w/e will be a financial waste

the wrangler concept from 2015 in wrangler trims would have sold like hot cakes and overshadowed the Bronco fully

They’re targeting different audiences. Wagoneer and Grand Wagooner aren’t competing with the Bronco, they’re competing with large body-on frame SUVs like Suburban, Escalade, Expedition, and Navigator (but so much not Toyota Land Cruiser/Lexus LX). These are big, long wheel base vehicles for the soccer practice and ski set, not off roaders.

Can Jeep do better with the Wrangler? Sure. But I don’t see how the Wagoneer prevents them from doing so.

Wrangler hasn't officially got any competition from the Bronco. They have already stepped up with some new ideas for the Wrangler and Gladiator.

The Grand Wagoneer/Wagoneer is what everyone has been asking for from mopar to compete with suburban and expedition.

They were the first to have a luxury SUV and are now back in the game.

Just like the 5th Gen RAM launch was aimed solely at Limited and Laramie owners...so is the Wagoneer twins aimed at the upscale buyer.

Eventually you will see more simpler versions (aka tradesman/Bighorn) as the new buyer sales pitch leaves.

Jeep is ready for the Bronco. Just like RAM is ready for that Raptor R...

And RAM is about to show how they have been preparing for the lightning also.

Anyone remember the HellCat secret days...they know how to keep stuff under wraps. Just ask the guys who say they are insiders...but can not discuss...IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW

I’m curious what you mean by that? Bronco seems like the most direct competition Wrangler has.

Most of them are still waiting for a hardtop in a parking lot

They flopped a V8 in the Jeep...something Bronco fans are already complaining about.

And they added some accessories to take care of the few things Jeep fans like about the Bronco.
