Well more then three, truck looks cool, well great! But that is about it. What about the razor blade stitching on the door panels. Test drive this truck with pants on because if you had shorts on you wouldn't have bought it. Lets start with the issues. Note this is a paid for $0 owed on my 2019 with 726 miles to date. I owned a 2010 Ram 1500 sport that had no issues unless I caused them. Now I own this....

- Put the steering wheel down and the horn goes off.
- Suspension sounds like something is hitting you under the truck
- Bluetooth speaker blown
- Backup camera has a blurry spot in it.
- Backup canera has double vision on any lines in the parking lot.
- Tailgate Senso goes off for no reason
- Break Pedal makes noise
- Vibration between 50-60mph
- Front Bumper Doesn't fit
- Truck locks down in reverse now so I have to back up with sensors turned off

I asked the dealer to trade it out and they said check it in to service.....$56k truck with 700 miles 1 week old should not have to go into service.

By the way the all glass roof is super cool!

Here are some pics!

Let's look at the positives,

1. Nice legs

2. Nice family

3. You got the dashed center line in your rearview camera!

4. They just found the apparent cause of the "clunk"

5. Warranty will cover all of that 100%

6. You're still smiling!

Call corporate and get a case opened asap. While that's in process, I'd start looking into your state statues regarding the lemon laws. Crappy your having so many issues on a new truck.

This may sound silly but the blurry spot looks somewhat like a finger print. Could you have a smudge on the camera lense? I know on my 2014 2500 I have to wipe the lense off periodically. All the other stuff is clearly not acceptable.

I thought my tailgate was closed all the way, it was not all the way in. So I'd double check that. Mine was like 1/4 inch from completely closed. I am having issues with my back up camera. I get a black screen. I have an appointment with the dealership this week. I got a Laramie and no issues with the stitching. I wore shorts when I bought it. I didn't test drive my truck because it was on the showroom floor. I haven't had any other issues.

While this is the correct process, it only gets you so far... it took months on complaining about my wife's 16, and three transmissions before they'd finally offer t buy it back and place an order for a replacement '19, which we're still waiting to be built.

A good dealership will work with you to get the truck replaced if its that problematic... doesn't sound like they're very willing.

No I have cleaned it.

Yes I am very blessed! It takes alot for me not to be happy. It is just frustrating.

Tailgate is closed, Besides the stitching the truck is very comfortable.

Yeah the truck is nice besides that. I am going to let the dealer service department try to fix all the stuff. But I at some point enough will be enough and I will have to get deeper into it, if they can not fix the issues. Blown speaker is the one that makes me the most mad, from what I hear it is on back order.

Smart to work with the dealer and have documentation, it will only help you if you can't get it resolved on their level. I totally understand about the speaker issue but me being an audiophile that'd just put the stock speaker upgrade to the front burner.

Everything is on backorder. My kids will open Christmas presents before I get a new windshield... it sucks, but not as much as NOT having my Rebel. Which really sucked, May 4th to Aug 9th was a lifetime to wait!

The razor stitching should be able to be knocked down by a good upholstery guy.

I'm still convinced you'll be really happy after it's all fixed.

Hi NickSmith1983,
I'm very sorry that you are experiencing all of this in your brand new truck. I understand how this would be very frustrating. I would like to help you out. Please send us a private message so I can have this documented for further handling while your truck is being serviced.

It is nice that you reached out to me, I will send a PM. That is really all I wanted from the dealership but nothing. Which is making it worse. They now say they can not check in the truck for a week because they have nothing for me to drive. Thanks again. Like I have said many times, this is the best looking truck out right now. I hope, I can love it again as much as I did before all the issues.

Just a comment: After opening and then closing my tailgate the first time I also got the tailgate open message and graphic. When I looked it was definitely closed, so I opened it and closed it with much more force. That seems to satisfy the sensor or switch and that seems to work every time. If I'm gentle closing it I'll get the tailgate open message.

Yeah. I know. Both of my 4th gens closed very easily so I wasn't use to it myself.

Yes that is what Ram said I should do to fix the issue, slam the tailgate closed. They also said that my hitch is causing the back up sensors to go off. Then I pulled it off the truck to prove them wrong. So far a week in the shop and nothing done to fix any of the laundry list of issues. Tires are not causing the vibration between 50-60. During the time it has been in the shop, I have had two brand new Mopar vehicles that needed to go into service. Now I have been to the service center 4 times, twice has been for cars that are not even mine. One was a brand new durango the other a pacifica. At this point all I can do is laugh about this whole thing (and at myself for driving a mini van). Ramcares reached out to me on this forum, but no one from Ramcares has called me like they were supposed to.
