Is .5" more, really worth it?

Just added daystar 3/4” rear spacers for a Jeep Gladiator to my RAM. Whoever on these forums said they fit a RAM should be slapped. A 45 minute job turned into an almost 4 hour job with the trimming and machining I had to do on the center cone. Point is, I spent ~4 hours to gain 1/2”, and I’d do it again. I’m still waiting for the front suspension to settle, so I don’t have pics right now of a the truck. I did take a pic with spacer on, though.

The reason for the perception is the ground is not the same. The tops of the fenders look level because the picture is rotated.
The pics are the same angle.? The better judge is look at the bottom of the step compared to the ground in the back

Gen 4 Ram spacers will fit the rear suspension. That's what I used on mine to get 1/2".

I should’ve just bought those for mine. I got this set for $25 after someone here mentioned they fit. When I put the first one on and it was almost 6 mm too shallow, I said “oh no problem, I have a lathe for that.” After the first 30mins of f’ing with it, I was emotionally invested into being better than the spacers.

Could you message me the name or link of the 1/2” spacers for the rear? I haven’t found any

Well got some measurements tonight. I'm at 40.5 in the rear and 39.5 in the front.

I went ahead and ordered the 2.5, for $70, it really didn't hurt. I like those half in rear spacers too, might grab some of those too!

I think that would make me about as high as I could go and it'll stil fit in the garage.

This is the look I'm trying to go for, more of a pre-runner style.

Dang is that truck on 37s? That looks sweet. I think one day when I get bored of my truck’s current look I’m gonna do a dovetail rear bumper like that, it looks sick! I love the prerunner look too, that’s why I have my truck a little higher in front. Mines at 45.25” up front and 43.5” in the rear though

Do you get any noise from those? I’m guessing you’re placing these above the isolator, right?

No noise that I can hear, and it sits on the bottom perch. I'm assuming the isolator is the rubber boot up top? That stays in place. My brake clips make more noise than this thing once it's in place. I only put in one because my driver side was 3/4" lower than passenger. Haven't measured in a while, but if I remember right my fender heights are 39.5/40.5 front/rear on the stock 33's.

You’re awesome, thanks for the info. If you take a look at what you posted above, the blurb about it says it’s for the top spring perch. That’s why I never bought those- I didn’t want a bunch of noise when I hit bumps. I don’t see that as being a problem on the bottom, so I’ll see how these spacers I just put on last. If I start seeing some cracks, they’re coming out and I’m getting those billet spacers.

That one has been there for more than 20k miles. No issues, and I frequently load the bed with 1500+ pounds. Probably 2-3 times a month.

I don't see a rear bumper, just trimmed sheet metal.

Yeah I guess that one doesn’t have a bumper installed yet. But that style is called dovetail and usually it’ll have a flush mounted “bumper” to fill the gap. Looks sweet

Are you talking about a rollpan?

He definitely means roll pan. Can't say in the all the rules I've been a "car guy" I have ever heard it called "dove tail"
A roll pan is different than dove tail. Roll pan is a flush “bumper” but the dovetail is the way the bedside is cut at an angle into the roll pan or bumper. If you don’t believe me just google dovetail bumper 😂 it’s super common with prerunners

*Update*

Well, finally got around to switching from the 2" to the 2.5" spacers. The front is sitting at about 40 1/4" now, so gained about 3/4".

It's about perfectly level and might look a little nose high but that's the look I'm going for.

Looks great! How much did you have to trim on the rear of the front fenderwells, and did the 2.5” puck make a difference on how it rubs?
Thanks! I just removed the small mudflap and pulled the liner back with some zipties.

I'll have to recheck on the clearance
