I just finished the easy install of the rear liners and Weathertech flaps. After removing the stock base liners I had a good look at the fenders over the wheels. The foam Ram uses and the joint construction looks just like my 2013 F150 and we all know what those do in New England. The good thing is Ram puts holes in the inner liner panel so if you do not have liners all that Salt can get in the seam between the outer bedside and inner liner. I am sure that there will never be any corrosion caused by it...LOL. Anyway, before you install your liners invest $10 in a can of fluid film. This is the only opportunity to get into those seams and it will live there forever fighting off any corrosion. Here are some before and after pics. The straw can get into the whole cavity at the holes and allow you to spray a good coating in there. Also a shot of it at each fender screw before tightening will protect in case of any chips during screw installation.
