Well went the last 18 years without a single fender bender or any incident at all. Last month I had a little incident with my wife's vehicle and I figured no big deal I have accident forgiveness I'll just take it on the chin. Bought myself a new 2020 ram and I was on a little getaway weekend I'm ohio and being unfamiliar with the roads I missed my turn. Rather than doing a 3 point turn on the single lane country road I just threw it in reverse. I went too far back and didnt see there was a guard rail sitting there. I cut my turn to sharp and ran it down entire side of freshly ppf and ceramic coated ram. I'm beyond disgusted. Things rides incredible still but the back to back accidents and new car with damage just makes me sick to my stomach.
Small buff on ppf front bumper, scratches to both wheels, front fender, rocker panels, both doors, cab and bed.

I'm really sorry about your accident. Hopefully it can be repaired as though it never happened.

That stinks, but at least it’s minor and should be back to new condition in no time (and no one got hurt).

Cheers,

Don’t beat yourself up. I bought a brand new Land Rover and parked it 5 miles away from the other cars in the parking lot of Toys R Us while I got some presents for a party. I side swiped a white cement post while parking “carefully” lol

I had similar feelings but decided to just let it go. It left scratches and white paint down the side of my LR - now I can laugh about it

cars are easy to fix - people not so much. Keep your head you’ll be fine

nice truck btw

I dry heaved when I saw this. I been there with my ’12 Ram. Came back to haunt me when I was going to trade it in. Dealers backtrack record pulled up my fender bender. I ended up listing it private sale.

Sorry to hear that bud!
I have a Locksmith business and on the same day I got my new truck, I had to go on a job myself. I unlocked a car for a young lady and the second we finished with the paperwork, she started her car and backed straight into my rear passenger door. I was shocked and didn't believe that this crazy woman just hit my brand new truck when she knew from the beginning that my car is parked behind her. Smh... anyway... the damage was fixed within a day (i paid for it of course, she didn't have the money for it) by an amazing PDR specialist in my town. Crazy things happens man, we just need to move on...

Thanks man!
Not my first rodeo, unfortunately...
Feeling bad about it isn't gonna fix my truck ;)
No one got hurt and that is the most important thing, anything else can be fixed.

Just wanted to update, picked up ram today and everything seemed flawless. It was raining so it was a little hard to get down and dirty and really get full effect. Paint body everything looked good. If I had one gripe it was the rear fender flare seems to not be as tight s the other side. Almost like the tape shoulda been applied a little lower. Its negligible for the most part but in 60 days I'm taking back for a ceramic coat and I'll mention it and I'm sure out of everything that's the easiest fix. Final estimate was close to 9k feels good to have it back even if its tainted. I couldn't tell tho, even knowing it was wrecked I'm impressed.

Glad you got it all fixed. Not 2 weeks after I bought my Rebel someone hit it in a parking lot and took off. Got a new upper and lower bumper out of it from State Farm. Prior to the Rebel I always had older vehicles and of course no one ever hit them.

Heres the outcome. You can see on the fender flare, it is sticking out slightly. I'm going to call Monday and hve it noted for when I go back for ceramic coating it can be repaired. Also, who doni talk to regarding speaker rattle? Would the same body shop at dealer be the one to tell or is that service??
