Hi,

First post, just got my 19 Ram Limited last month.

All was well until today, at -19c, the hvac on the truck is only blowing air to the floor. Doesn't seem very hot either. Hoping to get into a dealer this am to get it checked out.

Anyone experience this?

Hey I just posted something similar, there is a software update available but I'm not sure it addresses what I think is a freezing issue of the system.

Not impressed, I had to scrape ice off of the inside of my windshield on my commute this morning. I need to tow tomorrow.

You suspect the blender is frozen? Literally or software type frozen?

I don't think it's software. Before they got to that update the truck was inside the shop and the system was working when the went to repair . They confirmed the diverter valve was passing calibration test which leads me to believe that with the freeze/thaw cycles we are seeing now perhaps water is getting in and freezing.

My Ram is down for the count - dealer can't figure it out. They had it all day Friday, and have ordered parts. Back at dealer today - will post what parts were replaced.

It sat inside all day Friday so its not related to the cold.

My 2019 will not blow air out of the vents. You can hear the blower running, speed and sound changes with adjusting the fan speed but air will not come out of the vents. Switch to floor, dash vents, windshield, no matter will not blow out of the vents.

This happened once before, sometime last winter suddenly it started getting chilly in the cab and couldn't get any air flow. The issue cleared itself up after I let it sit over night.

This afternoon I was driving and the same thing happened. Started to get chilly in the cab and there is no airflow out of any of the vents.

Is there a recalibration sequence for these trucks? On my Grand Caravan there was a "push a bunch of buttons at the same time" sequence to do a recalibration of the HVAC system.

I know the answer is going to be "take it in to the dealer" but I dislike going there.

I feel you on that. I hate taking any of my vehicles to the dealer.

Truck was in at the dealer yesterday. Of course, they were unable to reproduce the issue.
