How to use the tie-down hooks next to the Ram Bin?

I am curious if people have found a good use for the tie down hooks next to the Ram Bin (see pics)?

Hmmm, I forgot we even had those. I wished RAM integrated the all-weather mats in a way where I could access those bins easily.

With the fabric mats, I think those rings are exposed right? I guess just about anything you want to connect to them, especially if the seats folded up you can use them to secure cargo and bulkier items.

Oh yea. Those bins store all my emergency tools and equipment. I have the Husky mat which I would have to completely remove to use the tie downs.

I use them to attach my dogs’ leashes with tethers. This gives them room to turn around, lie down on a blanket, etc...but they can’t jump up against windows, climb into front seat, or otherwise get in trouble.

My weather tech mats have markings as to where to cut to use those hooks if they are needed

I do have a net that will fit/stretch side to side and I can use it to keep something in lace there, done once before I got the mats. I have a similar net for the box as well, have not needed to keep something secured in cab since
