How to turn off new text notification voice?

Just purchased a new 19 3500 Limited with the 12" screen. I searched with no luck so here goes. Is it possible to turn off the "new text from ..." voice notification, besides turning on "do not disturb" every time I connect my phone?

iOS or Android? Doesn’t happen on my ios so it must be possible in the Uconnect settings. I see the message pop up but it doesn’t auto read it to me, I have to click it. Is that what you mean?

Apple IOS. the message it self I have to click it to read. I’m talking about the notification of receiving the text.

Ok got it. I’m pretty sure you can turn that notification off. When I go out to my truck in a few I’ll check it out.

Go into your iPhone. Settings/Notifications/Messages/Show in CarPlay (toggle off)
Does that do it?

I tried that today with no luck. It only does it over BT and not when plugged in via USB.

Try going into Settings/Bluetooth/click the i next to unconnect, then turn off show notifications
