How to deal with truck religion

I get roped into this same conversation every time I see one of my closest friends. He's a die hard Chevy guy, while yes I am a fan of FCA vehicles these days it wasn't always that way and doesn't mean it is always going to be this way.

I like to put my money into the best product/value that I get for it. Listening to some of these guys is painful, my friend is always telling me, yeah the new Chevys are ugly, yeah the interiors are garbage, etc etc, then goes on to say still if I buy a new truck it's going to be a Chevy.

I don't get the blind brand loyalty at all, nevermind the fact that he pretty much could have bought a new truck for what it's costing him to keep his 12 year old Silverado running, but to each their own I guess.
