Speed limiter removal. Any ideas, thoughts or experiences to share?

Get a corvette?

Tazer or AlfaOBD if you have to do it in a ram.

AlphaOBD does not remove the speed limiter, I'm not sure about the Tazer. Most times you need a tuner and unlocked ECM which could possibly void warranty

Z-automotive has a product that can remove the speed limiter, but it doesn't work for 2025s due to different canbus.

104 mph is ridiculous, I really hope someone comes up with a solution to this. Now I know everyone says why do you need to go that fast, I generally never do, but its personal freedom. How far do you want to take that logic? (ie. Why do you need a 64 oz. soda? It's bad for your blood sugars, I think you only need 12 oz....or why does any vehicle need to go that fast? ) Plus, I live 30 mins away from a 1/4 mile track and genuinely enjoy racing there, I dont want to ride the speed limiter crossing the line, which is already the case.
Also why does the RHO, with arguably worse tires and higher ground clearance get to go 118 mph which is far more unsafe then a more "street" oriented truck like the limiteds/tungstens? and have performance pages? and can actually launch? Makes ZERO sense that the Limited and Tungstens do not. Honestly I am not very happy about spending this much money on a truck with this much power only to be handicapped.

Unlock your PCM and get custom Diablo or HPtuners tune and you can get rid of speed limiter. Z-automotive also makes a decies that plug,/splices in behind the big display that works on 19-24 Rams

I would do any of those but I have a 2025 Limited, no options that I am aware of. The most I have seen is a post on FB by JB4, they said they can remove the limiter and are working on it

The RHO, like the TRX, has tires that are rated for 118 mph. And that’s what the speed is governed at. For reference, they’re T rated.
Your max speed is probably based on the rating of your OEM tires. Look it up - I bet yours are R rated. Or maybe they just set the regular 1500 DT max speed to the lowest common denominator (whatever the slowest rated tire they provide on any given 1500 DT).
