I am looking to run a wire from my third brake light inside the cab down through the rear regular cab pillar. Could somebody give me a step by step on removing the interior trim panels? I’m
Trying not to break any of the parts when removing. No airbag under the triangular tab, correct?
And be patient.... someone may reply and tell you that there is a pigtail somewhere just to feed a third brake light on a shell. There is on the newer 1500s so I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't on the HDs, too.

Ram uses the same interior design assembly philosophy across most of their models, so I think this will help you, but this is a rough instruction since I've not removed one from a conventional cab model.
Locate the bottom edge of the Upper Trim Panel (the one you want to remove). If the lower edge of the upper panel fits over the top of the lower panel, you should not need to remove the lower panel.
Locate the close-out cover that says, "SRS Airbag" and carefully using a small screw driver, pry the cover away from the lower edge. There will be a torx screw behind it that must be removed.
At this point the upper panel can be pulled away from the body. You will need to feed the seat belt adjuster through the slot in the panel. There is a cover over the seat belt adjustment head that can be removed using a trim stick or other tool.
If you cannot fish a wire down the inside of the lower panel, you'll need to remove the rear panel behind the seat.
Best regards and good luck,
