Recently sold our 2021 2500 Tradesman and picked up this 2020 1500 Laramie.
We found a permanent spot for our 5th wheel so thought we'd downsize a little.
Really enjoyed all of the info and knowledge on the HD Forum and have no doubt it will be the same here.

How do you find the ride compares? And the fuel economy?

I traded in a 2019 Silverado 2500 for the 2021 Ram 2500 and there was a night and day difference in the ride.
This 1500 is on a whole different level, love it.
Dealer that I bought it at is about 70 miles away and computer says I averaged 20.2 on the way home. All open highway running 70 mph. It has the 3.92 rear end so I didn't think that was bad, we'll see how it goes.
My 2500 had the 6.4 with 3.73 rear and it averaged 17 - 18 same type of driving, which I thought was great for a 3/4 ton truck.

Just a much more comfortable ride with the 1500.

How do you like your Gator tonneau cover? Do you get any noise/vibration at highway speed?
I need to get one and I looked at the Gators, just wanted a real opinion.
The cover I had on my 2500 was horrible, any cross wind at all and i'd have to stop and roll it up.

I haven't noticed any noise from it at all... very happy with it as it seems to be holding up well!
