Having done gear swaps in previous vehicles, I can tell you it's just not worth it anymore. On old cars where it was easy, and re-calibrating the speedometer meant inserting a new speedometer gear into the transmission, it wasn't that bad. But now, you'll spend a couple thousand on the gears with the labor to install (or more in this case since you need the whole front diff). Then you'll need to get a tune to correct the speedometer, which with a lot of new cars requires a new computer or at least one that's been cracked into to accept a tune. I wouldn't personally want to spend the money it would take once done, let alone risk losing my warranty. The cost and risk seem to far outweigh the reward. Just my two cents.
