I suppose I should post an update since I no longer have the '20 Longhorn. Here is my current RAM:

Trying to decide if I want to run 35s or not.

I kinda wanna go up to 35s myself. Here's 34s on 20s if it helps you any.
I saw your post and wanted to ask how you liked the tint by Global Window Films. I'm looking at a new vehicle for my wife that already has ceramic tint by Global and I'm trying to determine if it's good enough or if it warrants removal and replacement with Xpel XR Ceramic.I'm in Milledgeville during the week and Pooler on weekends.
Got a riding buddy in Statesboro that does all our tint. He's done two houses and 5 vehicles for us.
I have had ceramic tint on the windshield and pano sunroof now for 3+ years and the truck lives outside so it sees plenty of sun with no issues.
My current tint is made by Global Window Films but he's now also offering the new Xpel XR ceramic film.
Thanks for the analysis. I'll do some more research but I may just leave the tint on as is and decide after the first summer if it's worth changing.Great question. I'm still happy with the Global film and have no complaints at the 7yr mark. The tint still looks and performs like brand new. My buddy has made the switch to Xpel so my next vehicle will be getting the new tint but he's advising that it's not worth peeling the old stuff off.
IIRC, the thermal reflection was better with Xpel+ IR, (97% vs 85%), but Global is usually a bit thicker, known for it's longevity and more appealling color, (brownish vs gray) . If you google search the comparison between the two, it's typically a pretty even split in public opinion so I really don't think you can go wrong either way. If it's an even split then paying to switch would be a waste of money unless the existing tint was in bad shape.
Now, since you are in Arizona, that dual layer XR+ high IR may be a better choice but ultimately, that's up to you and your wallet. I'd be looking to hear from somebody that made the switch to see if they felt it was worth it before I spent the money.
