It’s called permanent Washington. Career politicians don’t have our best interests in mind. It’s about money and power for them. I believe trump was not for this, which is why most on both sides of the isle despise him. We need term limits on every elected position, and if an official doesn’t do what that ran on, we should be able to fire them.

While I agree to a point, we can't simply sit on our hands and do nothing while they do run this great country into the ground and past the point of no return. As @theblet pointed out, we need term limits on all elected positions because the career politicians don't have our best interests at hand. Once elected, their only goal is to get re-elected over and over again. Perfect example, our current president has been in politics for 50 years. Can you name 3 things that he's done for his constituents? How about Bernie sanders or even AOC? both sides of the isle are simply talking heads with their own interests at heart. I've said this many times before and I'll say it again. Every government on this planet are what's wrong with the world today. Average joe citizens like me you and everyone else around the planet simply want to live the best life we can possibly live. Most people people don't care what other people do as long as they keep it to themselves. Do you honestly think the average Russian citizen cares about the average citizens in Ukraine? Governments create the problems and us citizens suffer the consequences. It's all about money, power and control. I know you've heard the old saying "united we stand, divided we fall". Government has created the great division we face today. The government and billionaire "elite" thrive off of this division and hatred for each other. Sitting back and doing nothing only adds fuel to their fire.
