Fumoto valve clearance

Am I the only one who went to put on their Fumoto valve and decided not to because of the lack of clearance to the swaybar? Way to close for my liking. But maybe I'm wrong. Has anyone had issues?

That’s why I went with the SX version.
Same here. Just installed last weekend and works perfect. I bought the snap in hose nipple kit. The one with the built in tube looked nice but much too close to the sway bar for my comfort. Probably wouldn’t be a problem but why take the chance.

I didn't like the clearance either, but I'm paranoid so there is a bias. Went with a Gold Plug instead

Installing the long nipple as we speak. Used one on my Tundra and loved it. I may swap to the S version due to you guys making me paranoid.
Forgive my ignorance but how far can that sway bar actually move?

Jack up the truck from the front cross member until both wheels are equally off the ground. That would be the full travel of the bar

With the air suspension and ORG, i recall not wanting to shoot oil directly at the bar while having the truck raised to Off Road mode and sitting on Rhino ramps (the combination of which enables this big fella to shimmy under the truck easily).

I did just that. It, in fact, gets close to the long nipple version but it does not make contact. I’ll attach a picture.
With this being said, I may swap next oil change with the S version. I appreciate your valuable input.

Also, I used the Motiv X tool get my filter loose. I used a wobbler and extension.
I then used a large Ziploc bag and brought it down from the front. Very little mess. Wasn’t as bad as people made it seem.

Nope, mine was literally touching with no way to install without risking cross threading. So I now have a nice paperweight. 🙃
