Full size spare on limited longhorn with 10th anniversary package

I ordered a 2021 longhorn limited 1500 with the 10th anniversy longhorn package. The truck has 20” tires. The package says it comes with a full size spare. Is the spare identical in size to the tires on the truck? Can anyone confirm???

According to the manual you CAN get a "real" wheel/tire:



But mine has a "full size" 18" temporary spare.

Has anyone fit a 34" tire equivalent in the spare location?

I just put a 35x12.50 in the spare location and while it is a squeaky tight fit, it fit perfectly without removing any of the heat shields and without losing any clearance.

The full size spare is usually an 18” rim with a full size temporary use tire.

What rim and tire?

ProComp 18” wheel. Tire is a 35x12.50r18 BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain inflated to 45psi.

I think if you have the ORP you get the 'real' spare, but it's a 275/65R18, instead of whatever your regular wheel/tire size is. The overall diameter should be the same though.
