Fuel door

Thanks for the comments and pics.
I was messing with it today and noticed the painted outer plastic cover seems like its not fully attached to the actual swing door, the bottom corner that sticks out when I press on it its damn near flush and I dont know how the outer cover is attached.
Anybody know how to remove the painted outer cover from the swing door?

Thank you.
Do they have instruction on how to remove the outer door skin of the fuel door?

Reviving because mine isn't aligned very well either, not as bad as the pics from OP, but still noticeable and seems to be getting worse. I watched a video from one of the billet fuel door manufacturer and it seems to require removal of the adhesive to realign in. I might try to loosen the screws and see if I can retighten them a bit better or something.

Not sure if this is relevant. On my 2024 my fuel door was actually not attached properly from the factory. The second time I filled up the truck it actually fell off and hit the ground. I'm not sure if there was some missing adhesive as the door just slid off and on the swing out bracket. My door was easily removed by lightly pulling on it with the door opened. I didn't bother going to the dealer just added some silicone and slid it back on. Has been fine since. Just a guess but perhaps your door was not slid on correctly and is not catching the bottom slot.
